Description
Hi travelers we supply basic foods for 4 hrs of volunteer work per day for 6 days a week generally from 7:30- 11:30( it's mostly helping feed the goats and some help with milking and grass cutting) due to afternoon rains) although if your timing yourself best not come ...we like to see the job done so everyone needs fed ...if some sheep got lost gotta find them. We supply a yurt like dorm structure with a bed or a campsite. And an out door kitchen mostly there's gas but sometimes you need to make a fire to cook. There is an out house and bathing is a dip in the river ( no soap plz) bring your own bedding .
We also enjoy music so maybe come and jam also.
Good things to bring coffee cup, towel, rain coat and sleeping bag rain boots.( Some one wrote bring a speaker in the reviews, don't that's really not what were into....) Seeds to share, musical instruments.
Garden or feed/ groom and exercise horses and eco building ..make trellises..seed saving organizing and cleaning ..moving manure loosing the ground in pastures planting grass.
Dig a cava. Or even observe and help us figure how to improve.
We need focused self motivated people ready for full immersion farm experience.
Here you can learn many things that we do daily better than a course.
Here are some things you could experience on your free time.
High quality cheese making
milking
pasturing goats and sheep with the cowboys
(If you get up early)
Critical thinking
Baking
Hiking
Riding
Dip in the river

Family farm life
We have a farm with goats, cows sheep, horses, dogs, pigs, chickens and terraced gardens. We make cheese every day. And are always working on many projects from mushroom cultivation to pond making ready to learn or to give guidance...most of us are bilingual.
We have been practicing the hermit life style since the corona came out.
If you want to live and work here be ready to stay put in nature for a bit it's a ways to town though some do walk up and down.
We hope to grow our community and are actually quite open ...if your looking for permaculture, food forest and the like.
Its nestled in the cloud forest and is straight out of a storybook! We offer rustic camping in Gomes which are like light weight yurts.
Really if you believe you can help this small organic farm ... To bring it up, then Its quite an opportunity to live and learn everything from Spanish to permaculture, soil conservation, animal care and alternative building.
However if you just need a free place to stay and aren't really interested in farming....This isnt it! We are a hard working family doing it right in third world conditions. So Make it count!
We have space on February 20ith.. fills up fast I accept 4 at a time.
We are looking for folks that can commit for about a 2 weeks and aren't addicts of anything but the good life.
Serious inquiries only and maybe a video chat to see if we connect Well.
