Description
Greetings,
Embark on an extraordinary journey with us as we invite you to become a part of our Nepali tale. I'm Gagan, a proud member of our dynamic farmer family dedicated to cultivating organic vegetables on our enchanting, pesticide-free land. In our shared endeavor, we bring together the wisdom of former English teachers (my parents), the nurturing touch of a registered nurse (my wife), and the youthful spirit of my sister currently navigating her academic journey in grade 12.
Our educational background not only fuels our farm but also ensures seamless communication, as we proudly converse in English. Beyond being a mere farm, our space has evolved into a canvas painted with the colors of memorable experiences, adorned with heartfelt reviews. While we envision the launch of a chicken farm (currently navigating a budget hiccup), our distinctive commitment to herbal remedies for wellness sets us apart, echoing our connection to nature.
This is not just an invitation; it's your golden opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of Nepali culture, embracing the authentic local lifestyle, and forming meaningful connections with the ever-warm Nepalese people. The journey doesn't stop at our farm; take advantage of the enriching local tours, unraveling the treasures of nearby tourist gems during your stay. Explore the real Nepali culture, hike through scenic trails at no cost, and visit local attractions like the statue of the goddess of education (Saraswoti) and a Shiva temple atop a picturesque hill—all accessible without any charges.
In our hands, trust that your volunteering experience will transcend expectations, leaving an indelible mark on your heart. Your presence is awaited with eagerness, as we anticipate the joy of sharing this enriching chapter of life with you.
We extend our hospitality to those who may not be fluent in English, opening our doors to communication in their native language.
Eagerly awaiting your presence,

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
In our non-touristy village, where living standards are different from Western countries, volunteers benefit from a unique cultural exchange. Those who thrive with us are adaptable, flexible, and self-motivated. We have various educational, maintenance, and building projects you can be part of, fostering a hands-on learning experience. While our village might not offer the comforts of a touristy spot, it's the perfect choice for those seeking to discover the authentic Nepal.
This is your chance to explore real Nepal, experience the Nepali lifestyle, and immerse yourself in Nepali culture. In Nepal, with Nepali people, being a part of the community—it's an opportunity to go beyond the typical tourist experience.Projects involving children

Help
Currently, our focus is on maintaining our organic vegetable farm and preparing to launch a chicken farm. We are seeking assistance with various aspects of farming, from cultivating and harvesting organic produce to contributing to the construction of the chicken ranch.
Your involvement won't be limited to just the fields; we also welcome support with household tasks that contribute to the daily rhythm of our farm life. Moreover, for those inclined to make an extra impact, there is an opportunity to assist us financially. If you're interested in helping through a fundraising campaign in your country, kindly let us know, and we'll provide you with all the necessary details to make it a success.
Your collaboration in these endeavors will not only contribute to the growth of our farm but also enhance your immersive experience with us.Languages

Our area offers a peaceful ambiance at night, far from the hustle of the city, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We provide free, unlimited Internet (Wi-Fi) for your convenience.
Our shared toilet facilities promote a communal living experience. For a refreshing shower, you can head to the nearby small river, where you can connect with nature in a serene environment.
Savor traditional Nepali meals made with truly organic vegetables from our farm, including Daal, Bhat, tarkari, aachar, pulse, rice, curry, and pickle. Meals are served twice a day—around 9 to 10 in the morning and 7 to 8 in the evening. Additionally, enjoy tea and local snacks. In the morning, a cup of hot tea or coffee awaits you, and around 2 to 3 in the afternoon, indulge in tea with local snacks if available. Sometimes, we provide milk and curd if they are on hand.
Conveniently located a minute walk from our home, local shops offer a variety of items such as recharge cards, biscuits, bakery products, and more. If you fancy it, you can purchase beer and enjoy it on the farm.
Given our circumstances post-COVID-19 and the associated challenges, we kindly request volunteers to contribute $5 per day per person for food and accommodation. This arrangement aligns with Workaway rules and ensures a sustainable and mutually beneficial experience. What else ...
