Description
We have a big family of seven with the kids ranging from 9 years to under a year. I am off work on maternity leave but I coach figure skating and would need help with the kids some days for 2.5 hours after school or 1.5 hours before school, depending on th day. Some days we don’t need help as my husband works shiftwork and would be home.
We live in beautiful Grande Cache, Alberta, Canada right on top of a mountain. The hiking and exploring are endless and we are only 2/2.5 hours from Jasper National Park.Types of help and learning opportunities
Babysitting and creative playCultural exchange and learning opportunities
We live in an absolute beautiful mountain town where the hiking and exploring is endless. We are surrounded by mountains and stunning views. We are both born in Canada and can provide an experience of the average Canadian lifestyle/food/work.
Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
We would require help up to 2.5 hours a day but not necessarily every day. The traveller would help the two older kids practice their spelling and supervise their home reading as well as possibly start or supervise dinner that has been planned or started. Hopefully the traveller has a drivers lisence and can drop off/pick up at the arena during that time as the kids participate in figure skating and/or hockey.

Accommodation
We have a large home with our family all on the top flor and a large bedroom and private bathroom in the basement. The bedroom has a queen size bed, large closet, a dresser, and a TV which is hooked up to Netflix.
What else ...
We do have a vehicle that the traveller can use to transport the children to and from the arena and to make day trips to surrounding areas.
