    Description

Hi! I'm Felipe from Pichilemu, a small surfer town in the central coast of Chile. A perfect escape for a weekend, Pichilemu has a vibrant art scene, natural landscapes, a lots of places to practice water sports, from surf, to SUP, to kayak, to kitesurf. You will stay at one of the historical houses built during mid twenty-century, when Pichilemu was a vacational resort for wealthy families in central Chile. The three floors house, was abandoned in the seventies and recovered by my family during the eighties. It`s a secret spot, a beautiful old house with a green garden full of trees in the middle of downtown Pichilemu. A place of the past, looking for a brighter future.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Pichilemu combines the traditional rural life of Chile with the surfer culture, a combination that gives the town a very unique identity. You will find a "huaso" with his tipical hat on his horse, side by side to a surfer with his board. You can learn to surf, or if you are a surfer, take advantage of one of the best waves in South America, Punta de Lobos.
You can enjoy a vibrant arts scene, with lots of artists and musicians, living in Pichilemu. South of Pichilemu you will find Cahuil, kwon for Las Salinas, were sea salt is cultivated in the same way it's been done for centuries. In Pichilemu is a country town by the seaside, where the most historical traditions of Chile meets a the culture of Surf.
