Chris and Sue were wonderful hosts. Very welcoming, understanding and open-minded. Their pets were all adorably lovely and affectionate.
They were also in a great location to explore Liverpool, as it's just a train away from the city centre.
Very comfortable accommodation as it's a whole room and a bed in the house, too!

Chris and Sue warmly invited me into their home, and immediately made me feel at ease. This was my first workaway experience, and I stayed for 3 weeks. They took me in last minute, introduced me to some of their friends and family, and recommended me tons of places to see in Liverpool. Sue's warm conversation made me forget how far away from home

They even invited me to their caravan, where we walked by the sand dunes, and had some honest conversations. These are very open, genuine individuals. If you're looking to explore Liverpool, and be surrounded by warm energy, this is the perfect family to stay with!

How wonderful it was having Heaven stay with us! She fitted seamlessly into our household happy to help with anything we asked. She worked in the house and garden and was so kind and helpful with the animals. We were so lucky to have her at this time as one of our cats was injured and needed intensive care. She was happy to sit with him for hours

How great it was having Joel stay with us. He was a perfect match for our family and we all enjoyed his stay. He did so much work in the garden and generally was a great person to be around xxx
stayed in their house for a month, assisting with Sue's house moving and some housekeeping tasks. Sue is super kind, and everyone in the house is welcoming and friendly. The pets, including chickens, cats, and dogs, are all adorable and lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and if I have the chance, I will definitely come back next time. 🥹🥰

I had a wonderful and above all super interesting stay at Sue's and Chris' house. My tasks were enjoyable and quite unusual, for example laying a carpet or clearing out a charity shop. But they didn't overloaded me with work at all. In my leisure time I visited lots of places and museums (which are free!) in Liverpool and spent time with their

Sue and Chris are both very lovely, warm and welcoming. They recommended me lots of different places, also for my following journey. Every story, no matter if it was about themselves, their lifes, their family, their friends or about their jobs, was really fascinating and inspring. Additional I was able to meet lots of interesting, new people.

I really enjoyed my stay with Sue and Chris! They were very flexible with working hours. Sue recommended lots of great places to visit in Liverpool and the surrounding area, I wouldn't have enjoyed it half as much without her input. They were also both very acccommodating of my vegetarian diet. Thank you again for a great time!

I'm so happy to have had the chance to stay with Sue and Chris. They are very welcoming and have so much information about the surrounding area and more if you ask! Sue and Chris are great hosts, Sue's place is very comfortable, I never wanted to leave, their home is so comfortable and welcoming. Sue, despite being very busy with her work, was always asking if we needed anything. We really enjoyed spending a month and a few days at her place. She took us over to Nick and Bob's (lovely people, we loved meeting
… read more them) friends of hers to watch the games. Even though our English was not good, we always felt at home. Chris is a very calm and patient man, we loved it when he cooked, also always worried about us, Chris' energy is so light, it conveys to others he is always at peace, he was always willing to help us.
About the jobs, they are always flexible, sometimes we felt embarrassed to have such a crazy thing to do. You will really love spending your days at their house.
I (Viviane) really love Sue's animals, I'm going to miss Popy, Ginger, Prudence, and the other two that I don't remember the name of, but I was always grabbing them around the house hahahahah.
Liz is also a lovely person, quite shy, but very kind, and friendly.
A pity our English is not so good, to express how good the days were in this giant house full of good energies. Thank you so much Sue and Chris, we wish you a long life, and with health, you deserve the best things in this life. I'm sure your children are happy to have you as a country, as you are such lovely people.
I already miss doing Yoga every morning with Sue and Liz, I really enjoyed it.
We will miss you and thank you so much for everything, and sorry for anything. We hope to see you again. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Sue and Chris are the definition of perfect hosts. I think I have never met such welcoming, open-hearted people. They always cared about me and also about my friend as his car broke down. I stayed with them for five weeks and it has been an incredible time. It felt like being part of the family and I am really gonna miss the dogs, cats, and of course Sue and Chris. Sue is definitely the busiest person I have ever met. Always dealing with other peoples problems and she has in any case more phone calls in one day, than I have in one year. I had the luck to experience Sues birthday party and meet her whole family and friends...yes, it really is a big, crazy but especially loving family. I hope to see you again sometime.
Best wishes, LukasYou can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
