Is hard to explain all that we’ve experienced in the past 6 months.

Cleaning the apartment was another kind of task but it wasn't too hard.

We miss you all a lot. Now that we are back it seems like a dream.
Thanks to Marc, Orlaith and Cris. It was so nice to get to know them and they helped us a lot as well. We can't forget Heidi Rose's smile.

Where to start ?? Andrea and Didac were one of the nicest and easy going couples that we had the pleasure to host. They started with us in August 23. Initially to finish off a paint project of a caravan that we have on site as a sleeping quarters for our workawayers. Little did we know that we had hit the Jackpot with these 2 Artists{ painting,

Initially their stay was to be for about a month but they ended up staying for nearly 6 month. apart from their artistic and design skills we got so much work done around and in the house. Rooms got a paint make over with little or no disturbance. If you need 2 pairs of hands that have the skills and the discipline to do a great job You have found the right couple,
WE got fantastic help with our guest apartment and dealing with guests was no problem at all.
Andrea and Didac came at a time when we had to deal with a lot of medical issues and were at times not available to look after our animals or guests. All was look after perfectly & with incredible good humour & discipline.
Anyone looking for a completely trust worthy and responsible couple that can be left in charge don't hesitate to host Andrea and Didac. I can honestly say both became part of the family during their stay and will/are missed already.
We wish them all the best for their future adventures and hope to stay in touch and meet again,

The job is actually light, just making some beds, some cleaning, helping with the gests, gardening and general maintenance. It was mostly in the morning so we had every afternoon and evening to explore the area or just do what we wanted. They are flexible as well, so taking a day off for example wasn't a problem at all.
The whole area is beautiful, surrounded by nature and very calm and the Hostel as well is only 15 minutes by bike away from Skibbereen, the largest town in the area, where you have pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and more.
We highly recommend their place to stay and hope we see Heidi and Des again!

We were also very lucky to meet Heidi's mother who was over from Germany for some weeks. We spent wonderful afternoons with her filled with a lot of fun and great conversations. We are so glad to have met Heidi and Des.

Here is a recipe with a combination of very good ingredients to get a wonderful experience. Those ingredients are: 1st- Des and Heidy the lovely, warm and close hosts. 2nd- Marc and Britta our friendly and nice "neighbours". 3rd- Rosie and Blacky lovely dogs, the best guards and good company for all the moments. 4th- Poos poos, the cute spy cat.
… read more 5th- Chickens, funny and hungry, they eat every thing you give to them. 6th- Be in the middle of the nature, you will live relax, quiet, in peace. 7th-The house and B&B, big, warm and cosy; the greenhouse, perfect to connect with yourself taking care of the plants; the jacuzzi, awesome! There are a martial arts training area, a bbq and picnic place; and the land, so big and varied, you will find so many things: a hill, 2 ponds, a forest, a garden, etc.
With all those ingredients we got 4 fantastic months. We learn a lot of new things about gardening, cooking, maintenance and we learn about ourselves as well. Danny start to play guitar inspired for Des, who is a great musician, and I have to come back to learn how to bake bread :). As Spanish, the only thing we miss during sometimes was the sun.
Thanks a million for that time together!
