Julia is a true rockstar-workawayer. Not only is she a very pleasant person to be around, she's also super-reliable and a VERY hard worker! Anyone who gets to have Julia join their family or business can consider themselves lucky. Julia did not only work hard in our garden, she also was super-kind to our dog, walked her and was a great help in the

Yvonne and her family are so lovely and inspiring people. I really enjoyed the time we spend together and the interesting conversations we had. They cared for me like if I was a member of their family. I felt really valued and safe my whole stay. The work was fun and everyday was different and never boring. They also showed me really beautiful

A true rockstar-workawayer! Gesi is defintely a workawayer you want to host! Not only is she hard-working, but she's also super-recpectful, overall a lovely person and a good soul! She helped us with a number of tasks from yardwork (weeding, weedwhacking, plantin, putting in fence-posts, watering, digging, shoveling anything, you name it!) house

I was lucky enough to stay with Yvonne's family for 3 weeks! Yvonne is an easy to talk to person and Bill is fun to be around. I had my own, clean room and most mornings I got up with the family when it was time for the boys to go to school. Pukalani is the perfect base for all activities and close to the cute town of Paia and the Road to Hana. I
… read more have to say that I will miss the beautiful upcountry region and the wonderful market! My daily tasks mainly consisted of walking Lea and taking care of the garden. About once or twice a week I prepared dinners, which always turned into nice family evenings. I also helped out with two smaller garden projects and wherever I was needed. I really appreciate that I had a lot of time to get to know Maui besides the little amount of work I had to do and Yvonne and Bill provided me with good tips on what to do/ what to see. Important to know is that the family is quite busy with their own jobs and cool projects, so you're exploring the island on your own most of the time. But you are not forgotten at all and always feel well taken care of! I can recommend the workaway to everyone who is independent and who wants to explore the island while staying with an amazing family!Left by host for Workawayer (Lotte)
Lovely hardworking workawayer! Lotte did make a difference in our garden and also for our dog (I am sure she misses her!!). Her attitude and also her cooking skills are an asset to anyone who decides to host Lotte! We hope she gets to have many more fun and interesting workaway experiences!!

Wonderful workawayer that was polite, funny and wanted to do more work than we had for her. She's super flexible, easy going and outgoing and we had a lot of fun moments with Franca.

You'll be the luckiest person if you are able to go to Maui and stay with Yvonne and Bill, the have the most welcoming family and their kids, Liam and Marc are the coolest.
Pukalani is a great place to stay in Maui and has the mos stunning view.
