It was our first time as workawayers and we couldn't have imagined it any better. Wes and Tuesday are very nice and happy to have a helping hand. They are very open-minded and always explain everything in detail. Ziggy is very sweet and happy when you spend time with her. We slept with 2 other workwayers in a large 2-storey room. The bathroom is

Everyone also cooked once a week in the evening. The work always went quickly and was fun, especially when you could work in a group. We had the weekends off and went to see the most beautiful places in Ireland. From the first week there was a nice family atmosphere. We talked a lot, played games and had a lot of fun. The glamping site is very big and there is so much to see and discover. We would come back any time.

I stayed and worked at the campsite from mid-July to mid-September. It has been a great and unforgettable experience for me as a first-time Workawayer: Tuesday, Wes and Ziggy were very welcoming - I especially enjoyed the good balance between shared activities and time off on my own or with the other Workawayers. The campsite is situated in a very
… read more calm & rural part of Ireland. This suited me well, as it was a contrast to my life in Switzerland. I play the bodhran (Irish frame drum) and was very lucky to be welcome to play in a traditional Irish session once a week (Spells bar on Thursdays). The work was very varied and included (f.e.) cutting hedges, cleaning, chopping wood, mowing the large lawn areas once a week, making pizzas, helping to prepare the town for the BallaghDreams Arts Fest… Wes did a great job at patiently explaining the daily tasks in the morning. The shared meals in the evening were good fun, I had a blast! :)
Thank you guys! Looking forward to meeting you again in the future! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Magi confirmed a visit with us, he asked to come earlier and we said he could. A few days before his visit i sent a message to confirm, he never replied. I could see that he had read it. I sent 2 other emails asking if he was coming as we need to no to make other plans and yet again. He has read it, but no reply. Extremely rude and very annoying
