Algirdas is a wonderful human with plenty of stories and good sides to share. He is diligent, hard working, smart and reflected. Spending my time with him was a true joy.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Arthur's place. He's a person who's already very far in life for his age, which is impressive. We managed to do a lot of fun activities together and had some nice in-depth conversations about all kinds of things, which I enjoyed.
Arthur showed quite a big leap of trust by lending me his car to get around here and
… read more letting me stay also alone in his house before we even got to know eachother, which was a nice gesture.
There wasn't much work required in my case, but I was still able to chop some firewood and to rebuild the balcony with his grandfather Lars.
The food was delicious (of course Arthur is a great cook! haha) and Arthur also included me in his everyday family life in Harstad.
There's so much more that I should mention, but I just want to say a big thank you to you and that I'm happy to have made this experience.
I wish you all the best for your future workaway endeavors and nothing but success and good times in general.
Take care!

I spent 2 weeks at Arthur’s place in March together with another workawayer, and I had a wonderful time! Arthur is very welcoming and easy to talk to and makes sure that you have everything you need to feel at home and have a good time. We had a lot of interesting conversations while eating good food for dinner and did some fun activities such as

What’s more, the location is just stunning, the island is very calm and peaceful with a beautiful landscape. From the house, you have a fantastic view on the fjord and the mountains and we even saw the northern lights, which was an amazing experience as well.
So if you want to spend some time with great people on a very beautiful island, I can only recommend this workaway! And you should ask Arthur to make some hot chocolate, it’s the best :)
Thank you for everything Arthur, I’m already looking forward to coming back one day!

We spent two wonderful weeks with Arthur and Alex. We felt very welcomed right from the beginning and both made sure that we feel comfortable. During our stay, we learned about and helped with construction, painting and some general DIY tasks. Arthur always made sure to explain everything, so we could help on our own even without previous

The help was not to demanding and we still had a lot of free time. We shared many delicious meals together, had lots of interesting discussions (about everything), went for a winter swim in the ocean, learned how to make a wooden spoon, went to the city, and met some of his family. We are very thankful for all these nice experiences :)
Thus, we can definitely recommend to stay with Arthur! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
