Help to start the garden for this season and live off-grid in Southern Germany

  Description

  We are a couple awaiting retirement, but are still working and live off-grid at the border of a nice University town in Southern Germany.
  We grow vegetables and fruits and try to be self-sufficient. We like the idea of permaculture and independency.
  During the year we need help with the maintenance of the vegetable garden and the surrounding land (cutting bushes, pruning trees, repairing fences).
  We love what we do and enjoy sharing our knowledge with volunteers who are interested in living ecologically and a sustainable lifestyle.
  After working ourselves as workawayers twice in Italy, which was interesting and great fun, we think we would like to be hosts ourselves and share our knowledge with new people.
  We don't offer luxury - the water comes from rainwater, we use a compost toilet and our electricity is produced with the sun, which means that we expect the workawayer to use the energy consciously and thrifty. We are vegetarians.

  We can teach all gardening skills, Permaculture and how to live an off-grid life in Germany. We offer a quiet life surrounded by nature but only 10 minutes from the next bus which will take you directly to our nice old University town, only 15 minutes away.

  Bed in a small room or a big tent. We will provide all vegetarian meals and expect that you participate in preparing the meals. Mainly we try to use the products form from the garden. We also appreciate it if we learn some new recipes.

  In your free time you can enjoy walks directly from the house into the forest or you can take part in the cultural life of our beautiful vibrating city only 20 minutes away by bus.
