Description
mid August to mid October
We are a couple of teachers to help with our homeschooling project of studying French language with our 4 year old Salvador and our 10 year old Dante. We are looking for a two month commitment from the middle of August until the middle of October.
We are a family run 7 room boutique hotel/bnb in Playa Grande, where there are surfable waves every day of the year. It is a gorgeous, organic space with an emphasis on community. We are a happy family of 4 people, Dante being 10 years old and Salvador a bit over 4. We are travelers and have spent years in Asia, then Europe, and now America. We are mindfully providing a travelers experience mixed with comfort and family energy to our guests through our hotel/bnb. We love being outside, at the beach surfing or hiking, looking for animals.Types of help and learning opportunities
Language practiceTeachingCultural exchange and learning opportunities
They will be immersed in the culture of Costa Rica, which is one of nature. We live in a natural setting that is teeming with life. People who come here will have an intimate connection with the natural world and it's animals. Also, people speak Spanish in Costa Rica and therefore travelers will benefit from learning another language or improving their grasp of a foreign language.

Help
We are looking for a couple of French teachers to help our sons deepen their understanding of French language. We offer a room in exchange for your help. Thanks.

Time with Salvador in the morning at the beach was always fun, playing on the beach, singing songs and collecting coconuts
And we loved giving French lessons. Where we could leave the choice to the children and develop their interests.
Playa Grande is the perfect place to spend some quality time… read more
After a not so great previous work away experience we wanted to redeem our outlook on work away and so decided to help here. This was the best decision my mum and I could have made.
They made us feel truly welcome, and treated us with true respect and kindness.
