Update 10/11.2024
Hi! We are looking for motivated people from the middle of October until end of November to help us to prepare our garden in the spring time.
That means we will mostly be preparing vegetable patches, weading, seating and planting.
You will be rewarded with the most beautiful time here in Patagonia: the springtime with everything flowering and getting green all over :-)
Hope to hear from you soon!
Annual Overview 2024/2025
September until May: Farmwork, Gardening and Building projects
June until September: Housesitting
We are a young artist family from Germany starting a new way of life in Chile/ Patagonia. We have a beautiful, huge piece of land surrounded with old native forest, crystal clear springs and rivers, waterfalls and the stunning mountain scenery of Patagonia.
Our girls are 9 and 11 years old and always enjoy to get in contact with the workawayers.
We live together with 2 horses, 5 cats, 18 chicken and 2 geese. We have a huge garden and greenhouse to grow our own vegetables, herbs and fruits.
Help is always needed in different little tasks around the farm, the garden and the house.
As we are still in the process of building our house and farm we are also very interested to take carpenters or people that are experienced in working with wood for making some furniture and some interior.
Also we are interested to take people that can teach playing the harp, the flute or like to introduce some other instruments to the girls.
If you are experienced in Barefoot trimming of horses you are also very welcome!
We are looking for open minded, motivated people which enjoy sharing work with us and like the outdoors.
Every winter ( June to September) we are looking for volunteers to take care of our house and our animals while we are travelling. For this period we are looking for a Housesitter that is able to stay at least 3 month.
***HOUSESITTING***
from June to September 2025
We are looking for somebody to stay on our farm while we are travelling for about three and half month.
The place to look after is in the most stunning countryside in the middle of Patagonia. You will live in a cozy wood house overlooking the mountains and valleys of Patagonia.
The house is well equiped with a wood ofen, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and bath and a separated bedroom.
Although living far of the beaten track in the middle of nature we have electricity, a very good internet connection and a hot water system. So the Housesitting is a very good option for digital nomads.
You would be here in the winter time, so it can be rainy and also sometimes snowy. But there will always be nice and sunny days in between.
We provide you lots of firewood and a starter set of some basic food.
You can also help yourself with some saisonal vegetables from our garden and greenhouse tu create a healthy meal for you.
Our property is close to the beautiful river "Palena", waterfalls and an amazing old native forest.
In exchange we ask you to look after our 5 lovely cats, our 2 friendly horses, 2 geese and 18 chicken.
That means mainly feeding them and cleaning their places when necesary. If you are an experienced rider you are also welcome to ride our horses.
If you have more questions don't hesitate to ask!Types of help and learning opportunities
