    Additional note:
A Workawayer is currently staying at my house. The earliest I can accommodate someone is from February 17, 2025.

I run an English class in one of the rooms of my home in Kasuya District, Fukuoka Prefecture.

My students range from 2 to 50 years old. Each class consists of 2 students, and lessons are held only three days a week. We have a structured curriculum, and with just 2 students per class, the lessons are not difficult. Your tasks will include reading picture books and flashcards, checking writing, singing English songs, practicing the same sentences to answer questions in English, and helping improve speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.

For those who want to become English teachers, this will undoubtedly be valuable experience.

Your work schedule will be three days a week:

    Hourly wage: 950 yen

    Tuesday from 15:00 to 20:00
    Wednesday from 15:00 to 20:00
    Thursday from 15:00 to 20:00

We are looking for a female volunteer who can stay for at least one month, genuinely enjoys teaching English, and is responsible and sincere for our support. Experience as an English teacher is highly welcome.

Additionally, we prefer individuals who are comfortable communicating solely in English during you stay here. Therefore, we apologize, but if you prefer to speak Japanese, we kindly ask you to seek other hosting opportunities.

In my area, there's a famous shrine known for its blessings for pregnancy and easy delivery. Many people from different prefectures visit this shrine for that purpose.

Additionally, my area offers numerous hiking trails, climbing routes, and historic sites designated by the national government. It's a location that provides the best of both worlds, with proximity to the city and the natural beauty of the countryside and mountains.

Getting around is quite convenient. The nearest station is just a 5-minute walk from my house. If you're headed to Hakata station, it's a short 30 to 40-minute train ride, with just one transfer. Alternatively, you can take a direct bus from my house to Hakata station, which takes approximately 60 minutes without any transfers.
