What a pleasure to have Sydney stay with us. She was supposed to stay for a week, but luckily was able to stay for about 6 weeks. She has a very pleasant, laid-back personality and good sense of humor. We had some lovely conversations and did some sightseeing. She's very helpful and has no problem doing any task needed to perfection. She helped me

She and my daughter really clicked and had some great chats and giggles. She was also wonderful with the animals and took Rover for lost of walks. You are very welcome back any time Sydney and please keep in touch!!

Coming to stay at Marie's was my first Workaway experience and I cannot stress enough how grateful I am. I stayed with Marie, her joyful daughter Ciara, their sassy cat Lexi and loving dog Rover for only two weeks and yet, during that time, I really felt like I was part of the family (cooking and watching TV shows together).

Marie tried to take me with her whenever she was going out so that I could visit the amazing region of Connemara (Galway, Clifden, Kylemore castle...) and the waterfall near the house is a mesmerising place to walk around.
The work was pretty diversified (weeding, organising, cleaning, mowing the lawn...) and Marie was very flexible (depending on what I was feeling up to and on the weather).
I really want to thank them for opening their home and their hearts to me.You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I really loved my time with Marie, Ciara, Marcel (another workawayer) and their furry friends. Marie and Ciara are friendly and kind, they take care of you, tell you stories and take you places. Staying with Marie, John and Ciara was such a wonderful experience. Honestly my favorite workaway experience to date!

The work varied and was never too much. Marie is so sweet and I just loved our talks and laughs. John is really nice and although I didn’t get to spend as much time with him, he was a great tour guide :)
Ciara (their 16 year old daughter) was really lovely and fun. Definitely the kindest and sweetest teen I’ve met haha.
Overall, these wonderful people (and animals, cant forget Rover, Lexi and the chickens.) really made my stay in Ireland so special. I needed up staying an extra week and would have stayed longer if I had more time!
Thanks for everything guys!
