    Hello lovely Workawayers!

Thank you to everyone who has contacted us in response to our pet-sitting Workaway.

We no longer need assistance - we wish you luck and fun in your adventures!

We live in a quiet neighbourhood in Blackrock, which is just south of Dublin city centre. It's a beautiful location - close to a blue flag beach, near the hills, next to the train and bus links so easy access to a capital city where you will find endless attractions. Our house has everything you need for comfort.

We are looking for someone to feed our pets for a few weeks while we are away. We have one small black and white cat (15 years old... she sleeps most of the day) and one daft puppy (17 months old.. you'll fall in love straight away).

    Required:
Feed the pets twice per day
Walk the dog twice per day
Water the hanging baskets in the garden once per day

That's it! Otherwise, you have access to our lovely home and the opportunity to explore a magical part of the world with free accommoddation for a couple of weeks. We have Netflix on the TV and the internet speeds are very high.

If you're an animal lover then our two are great fun and love cuddles. If the weather is nice, you can throw open the patio doors and relax on the decking in the sun, or walk down to the beach for a swim, or visit one of the many parks or museums in the area. In the evening there's a host of wonderful nightlife with many live music venues, or you can chill out by the fire and watch the TV with a dog on your lap. (And if it decides to pour with rain.... we have some board games, or you could use the kitchen to get creative cooking... choice is yours!)

Our cat eats very little these days - only half a pouch of food in the morning, then the rest in the evening, plus her dry biscuits nd water topped up. She has the run of the upstairs away from the puppy.

The dog is a King Charles. He loves to creep up and steal things you're using (like your pen or your glasses... so watch out). He eats a bowl of wet food in the morning and dry food in the evening. He's only a little fellow, so it won't take too much to tire him out with a walk and some play (we usually walk him around the park for around half an hour in the morning, then another half hour in the afternoon/evening). He sleeps in his cage in the lounge, which he enjoys.

Our garden is quite small, but we've got a few hanging baskets and flowers in pots, so if it's been a sunny day these will need a drink (we have an outside tap and a hose, so it only takes 5 mins).

If you are able to stay with us a few days before we leave then we can introduce you to the pets and show you some of the local area :)

There are two bus stops (one at each end of our road), which allows you to visit pretty much everywhere in Dublin. The train station and the beach are both about 15 mins walk away.

Popular tourist attractions in Dublin include Guinness Storehouse, Book of Kells in Trinity College, Dublin Castle and Temple Bar. Or why not take a bus trip out to Glendalough for some stunning scenery and excellent walks.

We're not smokers, so if you smoke please do that outside, thanks.
