Description
We're a big family with a large garden needing a big update here on Vancouver Island.
Both adults are working professionals (timber construction and school teacher) and our 4 children (ages 12-19) are active in music and sports. We are quiet, easy-going, respectful people who appreciate the same. We work hard on our weekends and evenings around the property.
We are currently looking for help with big projects to upgrade our/your guest accommodations. Hoping for someone strong and hardworking who also wants some independence in regards to travel days and hours. Digging electric/hydro trenches and heavy landscaping.
Sometimes we have a big project like building outbuildings or stacking wood and sometimes we leisurely weed and water the gardens, cook, run kids here and there or enjoy a BBQ and a swim in our lovely pool. Our property is less than a kilometer from beach and local golf, hiking trails and the island is full of natural wonders.
We have been fortunate for the past 2 summers to find workaways who have stayed and gotten to know our family for the whole of July/August. This was amazing and we are very hopeful to find someone similarly well suited and independent.
Please read all details and tell us about yourself and your hopes for your travels in your message.
If you're musical, crafty, enjoy sports and outdoors then please share those interests.
We want you to enjoy your stay and we want to enjoy having you.
Because we are inviting you to share space with our family, we will require at least a zoom call before accepting you to come and stay long term.
We highly encourage day adventures and over-night travel during your stay.
