  Somos un Hotel de Mascotas llamado.
  Estamos ubicados en la Selva, de la Riviera Maya en Quintana Roo, México a 5km del centro de una pequeña ciudad llamada Tulúm y a 8 km de las playas más hermosas de la Riviera Maya
  El objetivo fundamental del desarrollo es el de salvoguardar el entorno natural y crear conciencia en los propietarios de perros
  Por estar ubicados una ciudad turística, construimos unas instalaciones para un Hotel de Mascotas (perros), la idea es que los visitantes que viajan con sus mascotas tengan la opción de hospedarlas.
  También funciona como guardería, para aquellas personas que trabajan y requieren que sus mascotas estén seguras y divertidas, mientras ellos laboran.
  Para personas que viven en esta ciudad que tienen que viajar y no pueden llevar a sus mascotas, las pueden hospedar, dejándolos en un ambiente conocido y seguro
  En un futuro cercano queremos adaptar algunas áreas para tener además un “parque para mascotas” con instructores y unos estanques con agua para que las mascotas jueguen y se refresquen.

  We are a dog hotel, located on the Riviera Maya in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, 5 kilometers from Tulum, and eight kilometers from some of the most beautiful beaches in the Riviera Maya.
  Our mission is to safeguard the natural environment and create awareness about the proper care and treatment of dogs.
  We are located in a tourist area and we built our dog hotel so that people travelling here have the option of leaving their animals with us while they travel.
  We also provide this service to working people in the area so that they may leave their dogs in a secure and happy place while they work.
  In the future we would like to create more “dog park” areas for clients where they could bring their dogs to socialize , play and be trained, as well as small swimming pools for the dogs.
  
  It is an option for the people that visit the place with their pets and need proper space and attention for their dogs and also for local people who need to leave their dogs for a certain amount of time (monthly, weekly, daycare or just for a few hours).
  
  We offers clients a hotel in which to leave their dogs in a safe, comfortable, and natural environment managed by people that love and know how to treat the dogs. The dogs are able to be out of their cages for most of the day in a large, enclosed and safe area. Many other dog kennels keep dogs in cages or restricted areas all the time. We feel that dogs have the right to roam freely and socialize with one another for a good part of their stay here.

  Limpiar las jaulas y áreas de juegos, recoger excrementos las veces que sea necesarias, para mantener limpio el lugar, cuidar y mantener vigilados a los perros, cuando estén sueltos en el área de juegos, caminatas con algunos según se requiera, atender algún visitante o recibir a la mascota (huésped), dar de comer según los requerimientos de cada individuo.
  La limpieza consiste además de barrer y limpiar con agua y jabón las jaulas, las áreas exteriores es barrer hojas, limpiar alberca de perros cuando se requiera
  Habrá ocasiones que se tenga que arreglar algo, como una cerca o alguna protección, o pintar una barda, o pinta una reja o cambiar un foco o limpiar ventanas, o limpiar alguna pared, o cortar algunas ramas o plantas, sacar algún ratón muerto o sacar alguna araña, etc.
  El Hotel de mascotas se encuentra ubicado dentro de un rancho llamado Kirabo, y en algunas ocasiones cuando no hay (huéspedes) mascotas, se requiere ayuda para barrer hojas o limpiar la alberca del rancho.
  Todas estas actividades son indistintas.

  DESCRIPTION OF THE HELP REQUIRED:
  Helper´s profile:

  Clean cages and playgrounds, scoop to keep area clean, whenever necessary , care for an keep and eye on the dogs when they are loose in the playground, walks with some as necessary, address any visitor or receive the pet (host), feeding according to the requirements of each individual.
  Further duties consist of cleaning , sweeping and washing cages, raking leaves in the outer area and the cleaning of the dog pool when required.
  There will be times you may have to fix a fence or protected area, paint a wall or fence, change a lightbulb or clean windows, and remove dead mice or spiders from the area.
  Is important that the staff be very respectful and not fearful of being in a natural environment like the jungle, because sometimes is necessary to remove a tarantula, or a snake or little animals such as turtles, mice, birds, etc, from the kennels or from other areas of the establishment. We need to remember that we are in the jungle and those things happen often.
  Our Dog Hotel is located on a ranch and when there are no canine guests help may be needed to clean the ranch’s pool.

  El alojamiento que ofrecemos es una habitación (pudiendo ser compartida) dentro de las instalaciones, con baño, internet con todos los servicios agua luz, internet, baño, una parilla eléctrica, refrigerador pequeño, podrán usar la bicicleta como transporte y responsable de regresarla en buen estado y podrán hacer uso de la alberca del rancho, de acuerdo a los horarios y reglamento de uso, se proveerá de una despensa básica a la semana para que se pueda preparar sus alimentos, en caso de que el voluntario tenga una dieta especial, él será responsable de comprar sus alimentación.

  We offer a room for two people, which may be shared, with bathroom, internet, water, electricity, shower, an electric stove, and fridge. You may use our bikes if you maintain them in good condition and use our pool. Basic pantry items will be provided so that you can prepare your own meals each week. Should a volunteer have a special diet, he or she will be responsible for purchasing his or her own food.

  Somos una familia muy educada con estudios, vivimos de manera normal con lo básico, inmersos en la naturaleza, tratando en todo momento de tener cuidado con ésta, NO SE FUMA en ningún lugar del rancho, ya que es un entorno muy frágil, separamos la basura en orgánica e inorgánica, tenemos composta para residuos de alimentos y para excremento de los perros.
  Esta ciudad es un lugar turístico y es frecuente encontrar personas que consuman bebidas enervantes o algún tipo de droga recreativa, aquí en el Rancho no se permite consumir alguna, será motivo de expulsión.
  También la vida nocturna es demandante, durante los días de apoyo se deberá tener en cuenta que se inicia a laborar a las 7 hrs del día.
  Hay muchas personas viviendo en esta ciudad de otras nacionalidades, italianos, argentinos y estadounidenses, por lo que el idioma ingles se emplea mucho, aquí en el Rancho se habla ingles en un 50%, el necesario para comunicarnos con algún visitante.
  Es una experiencias nueva para nosotros invitar a los voluntarios, estamos seguros que es una buena oportunidad para la gente que ama a los animales, posiblemente estudiantes de veterinaria y amantes de la naturaleza, creemos que es una buena opción para encontrar ayuda de personas más capacitadas y con buena actitud.

  We are a well educated family, living a simple lifestyle , immersed in nature, and always responsable for our environment. Smoking is not allowed on the ranch since our ecosystem is very fragile. We separate our trash (organic and non organic) and use food waste and animal waste for our compost.
  Drug or substance abuse in any form will not be tolerated on the ranch and will result in immediate expulsion.
  Please be aware that nightlife here is very active, but if you are working the next day, you begin your shift at 7 a.m.
  There are many foreigners living here in Tulum, Italians, Argentinians, Americans, so English is used a great deal. We use English here at the Ranch with 50% of our clients, so we require an solid knowldege of English. In order to be able to communicate with our clients.
  This is our first experience with volunteers but we believe that it will be a great opportunity for people who love animals, possible veterinary students, and nature lovers.
