Description
We, this is Manfred and Sabine, founded our farm in 2012 and have now many different animals like horses, sheeps, lamas, camels, pigs, chicken, cats and dogs. We love animals and we love nature - this style of life helps us to escape from stressing daily life and mass consumption. We look for WorkAwayers to get into cultural exchange because we love to bring new people to our little paradise.
We always need help around the farm, in keeping our small vegetable garden alive and keep our house clean.
In your spare time, you can spend time with our animals. Our dogs like long walks and our cats love to be petted.
The nearest village is Erlbach (2 km away). Towns like Neuötting, Burghausen, Eggenfelden and Braunau (Austria) are around 15 min away by car. Salzburg and Passau are in a 1 hour distance and Munich in a 1h30 distance.
These workawayers will be satisfied at our place:
- you love nature and to be away from big cities
- you love to be with animals
- you are independant and like to be on your own (not always, but from time to time)
- you can work on your own, too
- you see what needs to be done and like to reach something during the day
- you want to get to know Bavarian culture and lifestyle.
We prefer to have you at least 2 weeks with us. Couples are welcome!Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
We need your help around our daily life (farm, house, garden, meadows). If you like to cook, that would be great, too. We have a workaway task list with things that needs to be done every day, things that needs to be done once a week and things that can be done whenever time allows. You are quite free in spending your time, just for special tasks we need you at accurate times. You can spend the 5 hours work throughout the day, sometimes you can even do tours during the day.

We have one room for workawayers which you might have to share. You can use our bath facilities. We also share the kitchen and the dining room with you. Food, bedding and towels are offered!
What else ...
Driving licence would be good to have, but is absolutely no must.
We have 2 dogs - so you should not be scared of being with them during the day!
This is the best way how to get to us:
1 Train stations close-by:
- Neuötting (the best one for us to catch you)
- Eggenfelden
- Simbach am Inn
- Braunau am Inn (Austria)
2 Airports:
- Munich
- Salzburg (Austria)
3 Description:
Easiest way is to come via Munich. If you arrive at the airport, you can catch a S-Bahn to Munich East (Ostbahnhof) and change there to the train to Neuötting. Cheapest ticket is the Südostbayernticket with S-Bahn which is valid for the transportation in Munich (S-Bahn, U-Bahn) as well as the train to Neuötting. The Ticket is valid from 9 am the whole day.
