Description
We are a mature couple living on 14 acres by the sea in Prince Edward Island completing the renovation of an old Victorian-style farmhouse. It is a very quiet and peaceful spot with a boardwalk to the sand beach. It is 50-minute drive to Charlottetown and 10 minutes to the ferry from Nova Scotia. We were recently in the Yukon and met people who were there with Workaway and thought it might be a good fit for us. There is another house on the property as well that could be used for your accommodation. This would best suit someone or a couple that loves to be in a quiet rural setting and enjoys the ocean and birds. We are close to a large Buddhist Monastery and enjoy their company. I like to paint in my spare time and enjoy painting Island scenes. My husband has been working on building homes and renovations for ourselves for many years.

This is a very quiet end of the Island surrounded by the sea and many farms. It would be ideal for people who like to get away from it all and enjoy nature. We can seals from the shore and an abundance of birdlife.
Help
Ideal for someone who is good with power tools, knows about carpentry and building to help with the renovation work. We are just re-doing a section of boardwalk so would need someone quite strong to drive in the posts. There is about 12 acres of forest that needs some brush cleared and trees cut, some gardens that need to be tended.
