We had the most amazing week staying with Anne, she made us feel right at home and was full of local recommendations, she even took us back from Cobh on her boat! the location was perfect with the bus stop right outside, our work was mainly clearing out the garden and some housework when it was rainy out. Anne is super easy to talk to and made

We spent one month with Anne. It was our first experience as workawayers and everything was just perfect! Anne lives in a big house in a quiet little village near Cork. The bus stop is in front of her house, so we could easily reach the city whenever we wanted in half an hour or so. Our bedroom was very spacious and comfortable, with an amazing

We also got to spend a few days helping in her secondary house in West Cork, which is one of the most beautiful place we've ever seen.
Our tasks included some cleaning, gardening, cooking, painting and helping with odd jobs around the house. Anne was very clear about what we had to do - we really appreciated that. She is also a very kind and open minded person and we had the chance to talk a lot with her about psychology, Irish culture, travelling and so on, especially in the evenings when we had dinner together. We had a great time! Thank you, Anne! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

There are not enough smiley faces to rate this host! Anne is one of the most lovely ladies I have had the privilege of knowing. I moved to Ireland all alone without a single connection and if it wasn't for Anne I think I would have lost my mind! She is so encouraging and helpful in so many ways. I cannot say enough good!!!!
The home is also
… read more lovely, it is very large and nearly every room looks out on Cork Harbor. There is a coffee shop around the corner and a castle up the road. There are many things to do in an around Cork and I also realized that the day tours are much cheaper here than in Dublin! (40 euros for an all day tour!) If you are coming to Ireland and want to enjoy the relaxing seaside villages with a lovely host and still be near a city, this is the perfect place! Thank you, Anne!!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
