Also working with James was nice, because he has much experience so you can learn a lot and he always made sure that I was safe while working with the bees. … read more working with bees. Gardening was also very pleasant, all the more so as you can try strawberries ;). James and Theresa cook very well. Breakfast is fantastic, including homemade honey.
They are very careful not to exceed 5 hours of work per day, so you can go for a walk in the afternoon. They also have a bike so you can discover beautiful places of the areas during your days off. The sea is not far and there is a great place with waterfalls near the village.

James himself is a very good teacher in order to improve your English and introduce you to the beekeeping "trade". Even through our work time we never ran dry of conversations and James always had a Joke to tell as he has got a very sharp tongue. The work itself was easy, interesting and well explained by James and included heavy lifting from time to time when we moved bee hives.

… read more History and Arts, especially italian culture, more than me (even if I come from Milan!). I won't forget all of our conversations in his reading room about life, religion, philosophy, music and every matter you can imagine, serious and not.
Theresa is very nice too, and the food she cooks is delicious: I felt like home with her cuisine, and a special thanks goes to her and James' son Shane who let me train with his football team.
PS: if you want to improve your English, that's the place for you: James is a perfect teacher (for useful bad words too :) ), and you will feel very improved after two weeks with him.
