    Description

I live with four horses, two pigs, a goat, four sheep, three cats and two dogs in Wicklow, Ireland. We are 5 minutes from beautiful beaches and ten minutes drive to a small town. The animals have a lovely routine and they are the priorities in life. They are pets as I don't believe in eating animals. The farm is small but works really well and the house is very nice and warm with a nice garden.

Anyone travelling here will get a good knowledge of how to care for horses, sheep and pigs. I love cooking and very happy to share recipes and show how I make plant-based meals, sometimes with fish. I'm an artist also and can share with guests my unique etching techniques.

I would love to brush on my French. I had a great French girl staying with me a few years ago and it worked well. I think I'm quite good at helping others to improve their English.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Double room with own bathroom and shared kitchen/living space. There are two small dogs who are very friendly and are allowed on the furniture! I cook every day and can provide breakfast, lunch and dinner or sometimes leave food for guests to cook themselves. I don't like meat being cooked or stored here.

    What else ...

I don't mind dropping or collecting helpers to and from the train or the bus, which goes to Dublin in about an hour. There are beaches nearby and it's a popular area for cycling. I'm flexible and would be happy to show guests the beautiful scenery and do some trips to the highlights that are not accessible by public transport.

There is really good fibre broadband here. It would absolutely fine if someone wanted to work whilst they were here. I work from home myself most of the time.

I can make room for a camper van. It would be positioned beside the house.
