Description
We are a couple of dreamers who arrived in this area 25 years ago full of enthusiasm, where we rebuilt a century-old farmhouse wanting to share it with other people who enjoy nature and community life. We organise events and courses in our spaces with the help of friends and teachers from different disciplines. We have a vegetable garden that we want to improve and optimise on challenging terrain. We enjoy music and dancing, we play the diatonic accordion and percussion.
We see it as our vocation to bring people together, accompany and assist seekers on their journey.
The farmhouse is located 7 km from a small Basque-Navarrese village surrounded by nature and native forest.
Within the region, you can learn about the peculiarities of the Basque Country with its ancestral traditions that are still alive today, music, songs... as well as Euskera, the oldest language in Europe.
Somos una pareja de soñadores que hace 25 años llegamos con mucha ilusión a estas tierras, en donde reconstruimos un centenario caserío con ganas de compartirlo con otras personas que disfruten de la naturaleza y de la convivencia. Organizamos eventos y cursos en nuestros espacios con la ayuda de amig@s y profesores de distintas disciplinas. Tenemos una huerta que queremos mejorar y optimizar en un terreno exigente. Nos gusta la música y el baile, tocamos accordeon diatonico y percussión.
Unir personas, acompañar y atender a buscadoras/es en su camino vemos como nuestra vocación.
El caserio esta ubicado a 7km de una pequeña aldea vasco-navarra en plena naturaleza entre bosque autóctono.
Dentro de la región se puede aprender sobre las peculiaridades del País Vasco con sus tradiciones ancestrales que siguen vivas hoy en día, música, cantos..así como el euskera, el idioma más antiguo de Europa.

The travellers will be able to enjoy a peaceful environment in the middle of nature, with a leafy and autochthonous forest, and the house, prepared with care to welcome and to make feel home to the people who arrive.
The learning is diverse within the life of the countryside and the farmhouse: basic principles of permaculture, water management, bioconstruction, biogas, healthy cuisine mainly vegetarian, bakery and pastries, pizzas ...; know practices of qi gong (chi kung), massages and yoga, ancient healing practices such as temazcal, this being an idyllic space for inner work and personal and collective growth....

Los y las viajeras podrán disfrutar de un entorno tranquilo en plena naturaleza, con un bosque frondoso y autóctono, y de la casa, preparada con mimo para acoger y hacer sentir hogar a las personas que llegan.
El aprendizaje es diverso dentro de la vida del campo y del caserío: principios básicos de la permacultura; gestión del agua; bioconstrucción; biogás; cocina saludable principalmente vegetariana, panadería y repostería artesanal, pizzas...; conocer prácticas de qi gong (chi kung), masajes y yoga; prácticas ancestrales de sanación como el temazcal; siendo éste un espacio idílico para el trabajo interior y el creciemiento personal y colectivo.
Dentro de la región se puede aprender sobre las peculiaridades del País Vasco con sus tradiciones ancestrales que siguen vivas hoy en día, música, cantos..así como el euskera, el idioma más antiguo de Europa.

Help
In the coming year, 2026, our main focus will be on caring for both the facilities and the garden and vegetable patch. So the main task for accompanying hands will be caring for our vegetable patch, maintenance tasks and day-to-day chores. There are many other things that can be done as well, such as artistic decorations, preparing firewood, small wood constructions, general handyman work around the house... we will adapt to the wishes of the workawayers, their skills and the experience they want to gain...
The minimum stay is 2 weeks. We will hold a video conference to clarify details and get to know each other.
En este próximo año 2026 nuestro enfoque principal está en el cuidado tanto de las instalaciones como en jardín y huerta. Así que la tarea principal manos que acompañan será el cuidado de nuestra huerta, tareas de mantenimiento y las cosas del día a día. Hay muchas más cosas que se pueden hacer además, decoraciones artísticas, preparación de leña, pequeñas construcciones de madera, mano en general en el hogar... lo adaptaremos al deseo de los workawyers, habilidades y experiencia que quieren hacer...
La estancia mínima es de 2 semanas. Hacemos una videoconferencia para aclarar detalles y conocernos.

Accommodation
We have several single or double accommodations (depending on the stay and occupation) within the farmhouse with all needs covered, overlooking the mountains of the valley, living room with fireplace, big activityroom , and a large family kitchen, the heart of the house.
Next to the farmhouse, based on permaculture design, we have a tiny house made with bio-construction materials, greenhouse, garden, natural swimming pool, large natural space to reconnect. In summer you might like camping in the most idyllic places of the estate :)
Disponemos de varios alojamientos individuales o dobles (en función de las estancias y ocupación) dentro de la casa con todas las necesidades cubiertas, con vistas a las montañas del valle, salón con chimenea, amplia aula de actividades, y cuenta con una gran cocina familiar, el corazón de la casa.
Además del caserío, en base al diseño en permacultura, tenemos una casita hecha con materiales de bioconstrucción, invernadero, huerta, jardín, piscina natural, amplio espacio natural para re-conectar. En verano apetece acampar en los lugares más idílicos de la finca :)

The house is located in the Señorío de Bertiz Natural Park, 7km from the beautiful village of Etxalar.
You can spend your free time walking in the forest, hiking, having a bath in the pool or the rivers, visiting the village. Within the valleys, there are megalithic monuments that can be explored and visited.
The cities of Pamplona and San Sebastián are just an hour away by public transport, with their beautiful beaches, a great comunity of surfers and lots of gastronomy. Both cities are of great cultural, social and artistic interest. On the other hand, at one hour you will find the French-Basque coast with its wonderful beaches, also with the possibility of surfing.
The public transport connections are somewhat complex but we will try to facilitate the departures within our possibilities.
In spring/summer/autumn, festivals are celebrated in villages with a long tradition of music, dance and rural sport.
In an environment like this you can fully enjoy life in nature.
La casa se encuentra en el parque Natural Señorío de Bertiz, a 7km del precioso pueblo de Etxalar.
El tiempo libre lo puedes dedicar a pasear por el bosque, practicar senderismo, bañarte en los ríos, visitar el pueblo. Dentro de los valles, se encuentran monumentos megalíticos que se pueden explorar y visitar.
A una hora de transporte público contamos con las ciudades de Pamplona y San Sebastián con sus hermosas playas y gran aficción al surf y a la gastronomía. Ambas ciudades son de gran interés cultural, social y artístico. Por otro lado, a una hora se encuentra la costa vasco-francesa con sus maravillosas playas, también con posibilidad de practicar surf.
Las conexiones de transporte público son algo complejas pero intentaremos facilitar las salidas dentro de nuestras posibilidades.
En tiempo de primavera/verano/otoño se celebran las fiestas en los pueblos con mucha tradición de música, danza y deporte rural.
En un entorno como esto se puede disfrutar plenamente de la vida en la naturaleza.
