Description
Hello my name is Julia i am 73 years young, but currently struggling with hip pain, so i am needing help in the garden and round the house and with dog walking.
l live with two Pugs and a cat in this lovely area of France with it's many lakes and river close by, the old railway track has been converted for cyclists and walkers and runs between Le Blanc and Argenton -sur- Creuse where there is a train station. l live in what l call a drive through village which is between the two towns, we have here a boulangerie, post office, tabac'cafe, tennis'ball court and access to the river and football field.
There are many Chateaux and churches dotted about, many within an hours drive, and lot's of small villages to explore and during the summer months there are numerous vide greniers (boot markets) to browse leisurely around mostly at weekends.
Le Blanc 15 km has a variety of shops, bars, restaurants supermarket and hospital plus the old quarter which overlooks the town has a museum and there's access to the river where it's possible to hire a Kayak.
15 km in other direction is St Gaultier which has a Friday morning market, 2 restaurants, post office, tennis court, small supermarket and holistic and beauty salons, plus access to the river, travelling on to Argenton which has a diversity of shops, a shirt museum and Roman remains with an interesting museum.
l am trying to downsize so there is lot's to pack up, some which will go to charities or the local refuse center, so someone with a van would be helpful as l only have a small car.
l am a non smoker having given it up December 2019 but not against anyone that does only not in the house.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help with learning English if needed, improving DIY skills, experiencing a different area of France to which they maybe not used too. l enjoy meeting people and l will try to have a conversation in their language with the help from translation apps on phone. Also sharing cooking and experimenting with new recipes would be fun.
Help
General gardening, weeding and mowing, tending to plants, spring cleaning, taking down curtains for laundering and cleaning the windows (l have a window vac making the task so much easier), repairing fences some of the posts have worked loose and the heavy windows cause the wire fence to sway, plus they are covered in ground sheeting material some of which needs replacing, repairing damaged house facia with filler, likewise ground floor windows which need reputtying and painting. Inside l have a small utility room which needs ceiling tiles put up, walls painted and boxing in of pipes which if l am capable will also help with.

Unfortunately even though l have lived in France for 17 years l am afraid my understanding of the spoken word is limited and l can only have short conversations hoping that the person l am talking to understands me, so help with teaching me would be great. l have in the distant past spoken some Spanish and Turkish most of which is forgotten now but still have help books in case l get someone from either those countries.Accommodation

Serve yourself breakfast, either have a cooked lunch or evening meal.
