Lucy stayed with us for around a week and was an excellent help! She helped pick a lot of berries and was keen to help out around the property and house. Lucy was a delight to be around. I loved my time on the farm and although my stay was only short, I got to know Terra picking blueberries in the garden and we all had dinners together which was lovely. … read more is sooooo comfortable, the cabin is perfect for any length of a stay. The food was always delicious and plentiful, and you will get to spend time with their dog Blue and four lovely cats! On top I was lucky to get to know Terras whole family!
Martin is a really good cook (Terra too, her miso mushrooms are the best) and they provided a very delicious dinner every single evening. Including the self made mead!
I felt very comfortable in my little cabin with beautiful ocean view and calming nature sounds.
The nice lake to swim is just a 15 min walk and you can also make it to the fernwood road café easy without a car or bike.
The cats and the little dog Blueberry are super cute and have remarkable personalities! 😊

Meg & Sara were so kind and helpful! I can't say enough good things about them. They helped out so much around the garden and house. They planted out over half our farm gardens and were always happy to lend a hand! They have positive energy and we had memorable conversations. I would recommend them both to any work away hosts. :)

The cabin soo warm and cozy. You will wake up each morning with views of the pond outside your doorstep, mountains of Galiano Island in the distance and sounds of chickens and birds chirping. From time to time you will see ducks flying above and plunging into the pond for their morning dips haha
Great, funny convo's soo easy to get along with. Terra took us out on a hike (beautiful views) and around Ganges town.
Any workawayer would be lucky to have them as hosts.

I felt very comfortable in their home, especially being surrounded by their wonderful pets (missing Misty already).
They really took the time to show me all of their ongoing projects and I loved being part of it. When I'm back home I'll definitely try making kombucha and grow my own garlic, you inspired me a lot :D
