    Description

I am Carly and I have 3 dogs and a cat called Moon. We live in a beautiful rustic house with lots of beautiful land that is currently being developed. It is a mini-paradise with a lot of room for creative ideas and projects! As of yet, the land is quite wild and we are slowly cultivating. Also beginning to build eco-dwellings, such as a cob house.

Travelers will benefit from being part of a young project from the outset, with a lot of opportunity for brain-storming creative ideas, trying things out and making your own unique contribution. The location is wild and natural and you'll experience 'real rural life' in Andalucia... whilst having the benefits of being close to a lively town. You can pick fruit and nuts and the views from the roof terrace are stunning! You're welcome to practice your Spanish here. You can take part in caring for a variety of trees including Almond, Olive, Nispero, Fig, Orange and learn the ins and outs of the ingenious Spanish irrigation system! There may be opportunities to learn about cob-buliding and to take part in construction projects.

All of the above are possibilities but I wouldn't hope for all from one person! :) Many projects are running simultaneously... including the building of a cob-house, compost toilets and a field kitchen. Land-care skills are very much valued, as the land here is rich and diverse and always needs attention. There are opportunities to start a veggie-garden or to design permaculture. And the dogs always appreciate a cuddle and a good walk!!
