  Hello, dear volunteers, we warmly greet you from Vysočina - the Czech "Highlands"! They are Jarka (48years old), Pepa (49 years old) and our two children Helenka and Vojta (16 and 14 years old) . We live in the small town of Hlinsko in a beautiful hilly area in our family house with our grandmother and our cats :-) The children learn French and English at school, Jarka joined the children with French and last year we always had a few with us for a few weeks dear French-speaking people, now our friends.
  This year we would again like to welcome someone nice, cheerful and playful with whom we could chat in French and English and improve in both languages.

  Bonjour, chers volontaires, nous vous saluons chaleureusement depuis Vysočina - les « hauts plateaux » tchèques ! Il s'agit de Jarka (47 ans), Pepa (48 ans) et nos deux enfants Helenka et Vojta (15 et 13 ans) sont scouts. Nous vivons dans la petite ville de Hlinsko dans une belle région vallonnée dans notre maison familiale avec notre grand-mère et nos chats :-) Les enfants apprennent le français et l'anglais à l'école, Jarka a rejoint les enfants avec le français et l'année dernière nous en avons toujours eu quelques-uns avec nous depuis quelques semaines chers francophones, maintenant nos amis.
  Cette année nous aimerions encore accueillir quelqu'un de sympathique, joyeux et joueur avec qui nous pourrions discuter en français et en anglais et nous perfectionner dans les deux langues.

  If you would like to discover our region, we would be very happy to become your personal guides. Our reward will be the opportunity to improve your French and English. This fall I would like to go as a volunteer to Iceland and Scandinavia. I would like to help the nature there and therefore I need to improve my English... A separate room is available. Sometimes you can accompany us to the forest school where I work (Jarka). The environment there is amazing - on the edge of the forest and the river, surrounded by wild nature and wild children ;-)
  In winter you can ski here, right in Hlinsko there is a half-kilometer slope with ski rental, there is usually enough snow for cross-country skiing, there are also groomed trails (we can also lend you your own cross-country skiing), from spring you can cycle around the area (we can also lend you them) or take a walk. Later we will also welcome help in our larger garden, which we have just outside the city.
  We like to spend our free time there and improve the garden, which used to be a field. Last year we created beautiful terraces there, this year we would like to plant them with plants and we also dug a new small pond.
  But you will certainly have enough time to explore our surroundings. We can lend you a bike or a car. You can also walk or use bus and train transport.
  In Hlinsko there is also public skating at the stadium, a swimming pool with a sauna.
  There are several UNESCO monuments in the area - the city of Litomyšl with a castle, the pilgrimage church of St. John of Nepomuk on Zelená hora near Žďár nad Sázavou, Kutná Hora - the historical center, the church of St. Barbara, the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Sedlec. We can take a trip together or even rent a car.

  Si vous souhaitez découvrir notre région, nous serions ravis de vous servir de guides. En échange, vous aurez l'occasion d'améliorer votre français et votre anglais. Cet automne, je souhaite partir en mission de bénévolat en Islande et en Scandinavie. Je veux contribuer à la protection de la nature et j'ai donc besoin d'améliorer mon anglais. Une chambre individuelle est à votre disposition. Vous pourrez parfois nous accompagner à l'école en forêt où je travaille (Jarka). Le cadre y est exceptionnel : en lisière de forêt et de rivière, au cœur d'une nature sauvage et en compagnie d'enfants pleins d'énergie ! ;-) En hiver, vous pourrez skier ici. À Hlinsko même, il y a une piste de ski d'un demi-kilomètre avec location de skis. L'enneigement est généralement suffisant pour le ski de fond, et il existe aussi des pistes damées (nous pouvons vous prêter vos propres skis de fond). À partir du printemps, vous pourrez explorer les environs à vélo (nous pouvons également vous en prêter) ou vous promener. Plus tard, nous aurons également besoin d'aide pour notre grand jardin, situé juste à l'extérieur de la ville.
  
  Nous aimons y passer notre temps libre et embellir ce jardin, qui était autrefois un champ. L'année dernière, nous avons aménagé de magnifiques terrasses. Cette année, nous souhaitons les planter et nous avons également creusé un petit étang.
  
  Vous aurez amplement le temps d'explorer les environs. Nous pouvons vous prêter un vélo ou une voiture. Vous pouvez aussi vous déplacer à pied, en bus ou en train.
  
  À Hlinsko, vous trouverez une patinoire publique au stade et une piscine avec sauna.
  
  La région abrite plusieurs sites classés au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO : la ville de Litomyšl et son château, l'église de pèlerinage Saint-Jean-Népomucène sur Zelená hora près de Žďár nad Sázavou, Kutná Hora (le centre historique), l'église Sainte-Barbe et la cathédrale de l'Assomption de la Vierge Marie à Sedlec. Nous pouvons organiser une excursion ensemble ou même louer une voiture.

  We are looking for a person who likes nature, adventure and sometimes discomfort, who likes children and of course - who is talkative :-) We will 100% welcome you as a member of our family - that means we will share everyday life and involve you in everything happens around our family as if you were one of us, but it also includes sharing "responsibilities" like keeping the premises clean, washing the dishes, help in the garden.

  Nous recherchons une personne qui aime la nature, l'aventure et parfois l'inconfort, qui aime les enfants et bien sûr - qui est bavarde :-) Nous vous accueillerons à 100% en tant que membre de notre famille - cela signifie que nous partagerons le quotidien et nous impliquerons toi dans tout ce qui se passe autour de notre famille comme si tu étais l'un des nôtres, mais cela inclut aussi le partage des "responsabilités" comme garder les lieux propres, faire la vaisselle, un travail dans le notre jardin.

  In the vicinity of Hlinsko there are two cities listed in Unesco - Litomyšl and Žďár nad Sázavou. Directly in HLinsko, the old part of the city "Betlem" and nearby Veselý Kopec - an open-air museum of folk architecture.
  
  There is a beautiful Doubrava river valley near the school.
