Description
Especially looking for carpenters. Couple ideally, with carpentry or gardening experience.
We are a happy international household with two children and a dog. We are ideally looking for a hardworking couple or two people. Or a single individual with definite things they want to do and places to see.
So the primary volunteer help we need is cleaning/clearing/organising the house and working (weeding, planting, setting up a poly tunnel, clearing drains, shovelling leaves) in the garden. But if you are a specialist in something eg gardener, tree surgeon, carpenter, painter we will totally adapt tasks to you as you are rare! We ask for six hours a day four days a week and we provide all food and accommodation. This is a volunteer role.
We are a 2km walk into Celbridge on a path where there is a bus to Dublin.Types of help and learning opportunities

We usually all eat together Monday to Thursday evening when we cook. On the other days you can cook for yourself. We provide you with information on things to do and places to go and drop you off centrally where possible. You are also welcome to join us on the trips we take with our kids. We also invite you to be independent and meet people yourself and explore. Research what you want to see before you come. Plan your weekends as transport in Ireland can be difficult.

Help
Looking for helpers throughout the year on short term stays. We are doing the garden and so would welcome some volunteers ( food and accommodation in exchange for 24 hours help) to help do up the garden, clean the house, weed, plant.
We are looking for help in doing up the garden and helping on the organic plot which we have had no time to develop!
Help include - Gardening, planting, mowing lawn, painting fences, weeding, cleaning, carpentry.
- In the garden we would need help with weeding, planting, grass cutting, building fences. We tend to work with you on what tasks you would most like to do although at the moment, you may be working independently as we are both working during the day.
- We could also do with help with cleaning, organising, painting in the house
We ask for around 6 hours a day 4 days a week. You then have the other three days off.
In exchange you get all food and accomodation and we will drop you off locally within reason, if you don't have a bike or car. But we are not a hotel so you will need to be independent but at the same time respectful of our family time and our own work.
We can also accommodate someone more interested in cleaning, painting, up cycling, cooking etc. We can potentially accommodate all times of the year so drop us a line to see. We are around 35 mins from Dublin by bus, 2km walk/cycle/drive into Celbridge. We can pick you up from celbridge if you are coming from the airport, anytime after 6pm.We look forward to meeting you!Languages spoken
