Hello, my name is Calum, I'm 22 and currently based in Newport, South Wales. I study languages at university and I've just spent a year abroad, firstly working in Bordeaux and secondly studying in Latvia. Unfortunately, I haven't yet had the opportunity to spend some time in Spain but this is what I'm hoping to do now, with the goal of vastly improving my Spanish. This will actually form part of my university degree so I'd be very grateful for the experience. Of course I speak English and French fairly fluently so I'd love a bit of language exchange. I'm very excited to get stuck in and hopefully uncover a new adventure. My goal is to immerse myself into Spanish culture and language, as I have done with the other languages I study. I consider myself a sociable and friendly individual with a strong work ethic and am looking to spend some time in sunny Spain this summer. I'm available August and the start of September. I like to be practical in the work that I do. What I can offer is experience in the hospitality industry, having worked as a bar tender and waiter in a lovely local pub for a few years. In terms of childminding, I have two young cousins who I occasionally look after; they learn a lot from me and I enjoy spending time with them, so kids definitely see me as a fun role-model. I'm also good with animals. In my spare time, I tend to dabble in piano and reading
