Description
Hi! I am a 23 year old solo female traveler from London. This is my first big trip!
I am a specialist decorator and tree surgeon who loves art and the outdoors. I'm adventurous, a super hardworker and have a passion for physical activity and exploring nature. Over my travels I have found a new love of hiking and also enjoy mountain biking (can be a bit of an adrenaline junkie and generally hate to sit still). I love a hands on approach to work - making, building, creating... basically getting creative in anyway!
I also have a degree in History of Art and Anthropology and am driven by learning about various different cultures, their customs and history across the world. In particular I am fascinated by indigenous cultures and am super keen to be opened up to a more nature-oriented way of life, one that is opposed to the hustle and bustle of modern city life and technology!
However most of all I want to get into the nitty gritty of the backpacker lifestyle. I want to return from my travels having learnt new skills, seen places in a more authentic way, and met and interacted with people from a vast array of different cultures!Interests

In London I have been working as both a specialist decorator and tree surgeon.
The first included painting murals and creating paint effects… so I’m super handy with a paintbrush and love getting creative in any sort of way! I've got a steady hand and love lettering so I have recently been getting super into sign painting and would love to practice these skills!
In my tree surgery career I have completed both a chainsaw course and climbing/aerial rescue course, as well as general groundsman work. All of these involved fearlessness, as well as a high level of physical fitness and work ethic, which I am keen to bring to my volunteering. I would also looooove to extend these skills into carpentry and/or bio-construction if given the opportunity. I've been super inspired by all the amazing structures I've encountered throughout my travels (particularly in the use of bamboo).Age

What else ...
I consider myself a total sea addict, I love swimming and have recently completed my PADI course in Australia. I'd love to fuel my need for adrenaline by getting into some water sports (particularly kite surfing) or having a go at sailing!
Although I am not vegan or vegetarian I do have a preference to healthier, more plant-based food using local produce. I would be interested in getting into this type of cooking, as well as learning more about the culinary culture of the various places I visit! In particular I am a great lover of all things seafood!
I also used to play the guitar and am super keen to pick it back up! I have loved experiencing different music genres throughout my travels, particularly Cumbia in Columbia and Samba in Brazil (was blown away by the drumming in Salvador). Some more information
