Hi
If you're reading this after I've sent you a message, please respond even if it's simply to say 'no, I can't host you'
.... Us workawayers are often stranded in countries not knowing where we're going to sleep while we wait for a host to respond :)
I was born in London, England and after spending the last ten years moving around I'm now based in London again living in a creative warehouse district.
I love connecting people and places so if you'd like to visit London, I can help!
I recently got the opportunity to visit New York and really loved it!
I was raised in London, so I've always wanted to venture into the more rural parts of the world but when I feel connected to a place, I find it hard to not find a way to find out more.
So I've just renewed my account!
After spending the last three years still and in a small coastal town called Kilifi in Kenya, I'm ready to move around again!
I'm eager to connect with people, learn, teach and remain open to new experiences and ideas.
I'm passionate about bringing people together and helping to close the gap between locals and travellers, while also seeing the importance in how we all contribute to our world through all of our choices.
My Work Experience:
-Social media advertising for my own businesses
-Decorated, cleaned and managed Airbnb properties in the UK, Cuba, Peru & Kenya
-Teaching neuro divergent children in London's SEN state schools
-Deputy manager for a non profit charity whose goal it was to provide training and work experience to adults and young people who were Neuro divergent.
-Event management for retreats in Tanzania
-Interior designing parties and community projects
-Teaching English (TEFL) in Cuba, Spain, Peru, Morocco & Kenya
-Started a cultural & Educational exchange programme in Kenya
-I have experience in setting up events like parties, movie nights, full moon cirlces and festivals aimed at bringing refugees and locals together.
I really enjoy cooking and baking- traditionally I will always make a cake when it's someone's birthday!
I really like to cycle and do yoga, I make clothes, mostly using old blankets :), love to garden and propogate, start random conversations with strangers, decorating & interior design, yoga, teaching, photography, caring.
