Hey, we are Griffin and Autumn!
Griffin: I've been traveling on and off since I was 18 and have a lot of experience as a workaway volunteer. I recently took a break from traveling to finish a degree in nursing and I've been working as an RN for a year. Prior to studying nursing I studied wildlife biology in northern Vermont, where I met Autumn almost 5 years ago, we've been together since. I have a lot of experience working on farms, I have basic carpentry skills, and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. I've also worked as a photographer for various workaway projects, so if you're interested in updating photos for your workaway page or website, I'd be more than willing!
Autumn: I'm a wildlife biologist who has worked on research studies in California and Colorado, studying primarily owls and ground nesting mammals. I grew up in upstate New York in the Catskill mountains on a small farm, where from a young age I learned how to manage a large garden, take care of chickens and other livestock, and also beekeep. To put this into perspective, when I was very young my sister and I managed over 100 chickens and with a little help from our parents turned it into a small business. I've also turned my beekeeping into a small business, and have since gained experience managing that on my own. Besides my own garden and hives, I've also professionally managed other peoples farms, gardens, and apiaries. I haven't technically done a workaway before, but it seems as though my childhood has been preparing me for workaway, to the point where my parents are now seriously considering becoming workaway hosts now that my sister and I are out of the house.

What else ...
We are both avid rock climbers and runners! We both absolutely love animals and have both had pets our whole lives, so we are no stranger to dogs, cats, livestock, etc. We are both very easy going and friendly people and are looking forward to getting to know you! Thank you for considering us!
