Hi there, I'm Javier, a college student who loves to learn about new cultures, lifestyles and places.

The things I'm most looking forward to discover are new gastronomy, languages and natural landscapes. This is because I'm passionate about cooking, I'm currently learning German (I also enjoy using English daily) and I love nature, especially hiking.
Among many other things, I would point out doing exercise and reading as my main preferences to spend my spare time in. I'm quite active and willingly to meet new people and learn new things but I can also enjoy some time alone in calm reading stretching etc.

That's why right now I want to have a great experience travelling abroad to a rural area.

I'm a pshycology student with some experience in teaching, so I think I'd do well my part of the cultural exchange since I'd be happy to help anyone interested in learning Spanish. In addition, as I mentioned before im passionate about cooking (I'm used to cooking food for 4/5 people daily) so showing Spanish meals would be another thing I would for sure enjoy (and to learn new receipts from wherever I travel to). Apart from these 2 topics, I consider myself knowledgeable enough about stretching, mobility and fitness in general to be of some help if needed (I know this is rare to mention but also worth to, as it is a very important topic which is often neglected) I can also help with technology.
I have a bit of experience in gardening and I don't mind getting my hands dirty. I would love to learn more about rural life (not just gardening but also about animals), or any other activity that may need to be carried out, since I'm always eager to learn new skills, and hard working in order to learn quick and correctly.
