Hey, my name is Laura. I’m 22 years old and I come from Germany.
I’ve been in Spain since the beginning of September, and I’m planning to stay here until the end of June, so I’m pretty flexible.
I love animals and being outdoors because I live on a small farm in Germany. In my free time, I enjoy doing yoga, trying to bake or crochet, going for hikes, exploring, and trying out new things.
I already have different kinds of voluntary experience from my year abroad in New Zealand and I already did a view different Workaways during my time here in Spain.
I really enjoyed those experiences, so I would love to make some more and see more of Spain! It would also be great if I got the chance to improve my Spanish.
I’m on Workaway because I would like to help others and gain new experiences. I’m keen to learn, as well as to try out new things and meet nice people

I have a lot of experience with different kinds of animals (for example, dogs, cats, sheep, chickens, ducks, and more) because I grew up on a farm in Germany. I did a Workaway on a small farm as well, where I helped with taking care of the animals and some gardening. Additionally, I helped with pet care during different Workaways.

I completed a voluntary year at a Montessori school in Germany, where I worked with children ranging from grade 1 to grade 10. During my year abroad in New Zealand, I also did a lot of babysitting. Furthermore, I did 2 Workaways with children in Spain, where I assisted single mothers with their children, cooking, and housework. Thus, I gained a lot of experience with children of different age groups.

Additionally, I did a short Workaway in Spain, where I was an elderly companion for an 84-year-old woman and also prepared meals for her.

I spent a month helping on a dairy farm in New Zealand, where I was milking cows.

In addition, I worked for three months in a motel, where I performed housekeeping and reception work. I also assisted in a small lodge for two weeks with housekeeping.

Furthermore, I can bake, do a bit of cooking (although I'm not very creative with that), handle general housework tasks, and sew a bit.

I'm also a quick learner and always eager to learn new things/skills.
