Hi!
I am a nature and animal loving individual with a strong passion for learning and desire for knowledge. Some of my favorite things to do are create art. Whether that is by drawing prints for my small business, sewing outfits and costumes, painting, or running off with my camera to take pictures. I am really experimental and love to make new things by staying in touch with my creative side. I also love baking (I'm really hoping to learn how to make bread lol!), hiking, making new friends, music, and dancing!
I am a passionate person when it comes to social issues. I believe in working with a community that helps the general well being of it's people.

I would like to become fluent in Spanish. I love to learn from observation, so simply hearing conversations and taking part in them can be enough if you do not wish to directly teach me :)I am a native English speaker. I attended a fine arts high school. Here I learned skills such as photography, drawing, painting, photo editing, ceramics, metal working (jewelry making, soldering, and a variety of other techniques). I was also able to take an introduction to fibers course here that taught me pattern making, pattern design, fabric dyeing, silk painting, and screen printing. There was a specialized version of this class that centered around sewing where I learned to hand sew and sew on a sewing machine, as well as making sewing patterns.

I have volunteered with 3 different volunteer projects outside of Workaway. All were through the Worldpackers organizations (listed below)
1. Il Germoglio, Felina, Italy- Fall 2023
Hand bottling essential oils packaging and labeling them. Gathering various fruits, nuts, and berries. Bee keeping. Animal care for chickens, geese, and cats. Assisting with setting up/ breaking down of a booth at the local farmers markets, as well as selling.
Landscaping work such as tree trimming, pruning, raking, leaf blowing.
2. IKRC Menorca, Centro Internacional de Retiro Kadampa, Menorca, Spain- Sep/Oct 2023
Cleaning and various sewing tasks for dorms of the retreat center. Cooking as well for other volunteers and staff.
3. Naquera Meliana, Meliana, Spain- August/September 2023- Worldpackers
Planting/ tending/ harvesting crops, animal care such as feeding, gathering eggs, and cleaning habitat of 20 chickens, a goat, and a goose. Organizing and stocking produce to be sold/ distributed. Shared cooking and cleaning tasks in a shared living space.

I enjoy working with animals. In the summertime I would help my father (located in northern California) with the animals of the shared living community he lived on. I helped with pigs, ducks, chickens, alpacas, a donkey, and a cow. Tasks ranged from feeding, grooming, to spending time together.

I am somewhere between a beginner and intermediate skier.
I am am a creative thinker which can be helpful for problem solving.
I am a huge art lover and creative!
