Description
Hello,
We are Sarah and Timo, two graphic design students from Germany.
We loved your description and kind photos and think we could really help each other out. We are super interested to learn about raw food and love some inspiring new recipes in general.
Timo owns a driving license for driving your girls, and we hope you’ll have work for Sarah in the meantime as well (she doesn’t own one). (We don’t smoke or drink)
We both speak a bit of french, a lot of englisch, German, and a tiny bit of Swedish. But we would love to get better in any language really.
We are majoring in photography, videography, Website and App Design, etc.
Since we moved in our new flat in Aachen, we only live in our little garden. We got obsessed with growing our own beans and tomatoes and love to diy ourself furniture etc out there, as well as inside.
We both are experienced in cleaning, gardening and cooking (mostly vegetarian/vegan).
Regarding Timo:
I worked a lot on a little farm. It included mowing the lawn, cutting trees and other plants and more. We also build a carport including the roof and everything else. Furthermore we completely renovated their old Farmhouse. Besides that I have been babysitting in my neighborhood. I haven’t got that much experience with dogs on my own, but I have been on many dog walks and dog sits with Sarah or friends, where I also took over.
In summary, I have some experience in the most fields, but I love to make some more and especially to get better in the stuff that I already know barely.
Regarding my studies I do a lot of graphic design, which includes Posters and other prints. I also work as a Webdesigner in my side job. I love all forms of creative working. Which can also be transferred into other jobs in the household like painting etc.
In my free time I like to do a lot of sports like climbing, swimming or riding a bicycle. In general I would describe myself as quite sporty, which helps in everyday jobs.
Regarding Sarah:
In my free time I really love to do DIY projects in our flat, taking care of our neighbors dog, watering and repotting our plants, and of course all of the hobbies below.
On an average day I like to start waking up early for a quick swimming session. Afterwards I mostly work for my university projects or we both work voluntarily for Foodsharing (a platform where you safe food from supermarkets and share it with people in need/ interested people) It mostly takes about 4-5hours to get and sort the food, and afterwards make something out of it. I really love to spend time in the kitchen and have people over to cook for. My current obsession is Thai recipes as well as Soups (Mediterran, Ramen or Thai as well).
I do a lot of dog sitting, which I started doing during my exchange year in Sweden. At my moms home we have a cat as well and I grew up with rabbits. Got some experience with donkeys, sheep, chicken, horses, camels, etc. from other farm stays and voluntary work.
Since I have 4 smaller siblings and was a voluntary homework helper to younger children in my school. I would call myself medium experienced with kids. I enjoy the time around them very much and I love to learn with and from them.
Hobbies:
-Morning swimming
-sport and yoga sessions
-painting
-poster design
-garden time
-woodworking
-analog photography and developing
-jewelery making
-pottery (in our university)
-making the perfect latte art in our espressos (skill is still in process)
-sketching
-sewing
-playing chess
-other creative hobbies
We would love get to know you via a little call!
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate asking!
Best regards from Aachen,
Sarah and TimoInterests

old description of Sarah (I would describe myself as an artist. Right now I'm really into photography, especially analog.
I know how to draw and paint and love to decorate, reorganize and make spaces more artistic.
I'm also a big plant lover, love gardening and working outside.
I'm sportive, not sthe strongest but I can handle a lot. If you are building or redecorating something I have a lot of fun to help, even tho I could use some advice. But I'm willing to learn and get a bigger horizon in my abilities.)Age

Feedback
They are fun, hardworking, have a positive attitude.
We enjoyed their company a lot and we do recommend Sarah and Timo for any hosts.
A lots of thanks for everything
Evelyn really was the warmth of every room, and we listened to great life story’s of Greg.
Besides the garden work we enjoyed plenty of great meals and a lot of wine together.
Since we were there with 6 other workawayers the garden for camping felt like a camp ground :)
The water was almost… read more
They came all the way from Germany just for a short stay to carry out tasks we had discussed earlier, even though they were pushed for time with jobs at home.

Irena and Bernard were really welcoming. The food was amazing, as well as the room and the overall nature around there. I fell in love with the village Lasalle and its river to bath, as well as with the cats at the house, the… read more
