Hello All!!

Man, I am not sure where even to start!!

After graduating college, I decided to leave for a couple of years and travel to countries I knew nothing about. Anyone who has buried themselves in other cultures knows what kind of soul-altering experience it can be... and it was no different for me!! I was fundamentally changed forever and experienced so much human kindness I didn't want to go back home. I learned so much about myself and cherish all the conversations I had with strangers on busses, acquaintances who invited me into their home, and the people who openly shared their country with me!

When I landed back home I landed my dream job: being a farmer. I have been a farm manager of a non-profit urban farm for almost five years now and I love it!! We are able to focus on living soil and regenerative agriculture all while giving our produce away to community members who need it! We don't sell anything, we give it away to low-income families to cook at home and also prep it in our kitchen to feed people who are currently experiencing homelessness! I LOVE IT!!!!! We take cover cropping pretty seriously which is why I am able to leave for the summer while the soil rests and rejuvenates!

When I am not teaching volunteers how to farm, I am outside doing all the outdoor activities! I live my life outside and with nature as much as I can! Backpacking, camping, rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, sports... anything and all of it! I cannot get enough!

It has been some years since I have traveled and am itching to start pushing myself outside my comfort zone and learning again! I am typically up for anything and am always a respectful, encouraging, optimistic human being that just wants to share genuine and authentic experiences with others!!!!

I have been a farm manager for 5 years now on an urban farm. We have a little less than 2 acres but we focus on sustainability which means no-till, regenerative, low-input farming! Before that, I participated in WWOOFING on 2 hobby farms and 1 cattle ranch.

I know my way around tools but would not consider myself an expert. That's actually what I am looking for most, I would love to learn a new labor like carpentry or anything to do with construction! I am pretty creative and have decent artistic skill! I was a nanny for many many years before graduating college and loved it. Anything involving the outdoors or manual labor, I am your girl!
