I’ve always enjoyed the satisfaction of teaching, but supporting people with language gives me the most satisfaction as it’s the most applicable to the real world. I hope to use the techniques learnt in my last school to help others on their English-speaking journey!

Tom: For the last 2 years, I have been working with children aged 6-11 years old with differing academic abilities, following the completion of my psychology undergraduate degree. I worked with children who have learning difficulties and supported them in Maths, English, Science, Reading and Physical Education. Over time I began to really understand the children that I worked with and how I could best support them to reach their goals, which led to great accomplishments in their national examinations. I've also worked as a community leader, which had a focus on event organisation and delivery, and orientation.
I enjoy playing, watching and coaching sports. I also love to be outdoors, so if you have any gardening/physical outdoor tasks, count me in!

Katarina: I studied psychology at university in London and worked in two schools over the last two years, where I supported children aged 4-9 in all of their classes. I developed skills in working with and understanding children from different backgrounds and with varied abilities, teaching them in a way that is best suited to their needs. I have also nannied younger children and really enjoy working with children of all ages. I am currently working on completing a TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) course online which will further support my teaching skills.
I enjoy anything creative, from drawing and photography to art projects and interior design, and I am keen to help with any home repairs or DIY that require a creative eye! I also love being in nature as I grew up in the countryside and I can help with a basic level of gardening and animal care, and am always looking to learn more 😊
I am a relatively confident cook and am always interested in learning how to cook new cuisines!
