LAST MINUTE HOST: Specifically, we are seeking a volunteer for the period of June 25-July 8, to fill a caretaker role as the camp manager will be traveling. You would need to arrive at least 1 week prior to June 25.

Hello travelers! My name is Karen (Caribbean) and together with Jeff (Netherlands) and Simon (Kenya) we recently opened a cozy small-scale eco camp (sleeps 14) in the heart of Kenya's Maasailand, close to the world famous Masaai Mara National Reserve. Set in nature, our regular VIP's include Elephant, Zebra, Gazelles, Monkeys, Baboons Birds, Bushbabies and more!

As we gear up for High Season, we're looking for someone with Hospitality Experience who can host international guests, help organize their activities (safari, nature walks, hikes etc.), help manage 2-3 local staff & daily camp management, and cook simple but delicious meals (meat/veg/vgn).

Who you are: self-starter, kind, friendly, get-things-done attitude, organized, patient, people person, able to work independently with little to no supervision.
The skills you have: hosting, problem solver, cooking, mixing simple cocktails or willing to learn.

Must like/love cats!! We have 2 furbabies.

We're looking for a dedicated person to help out for a minimum of 14 days, maximum: however long you'd like to stay!

You'd sleep in one of our bush pods, share the toilets/showers, and enjoy simple 3 meals a day which you will prepare in the small kitchen. We have solar for fridge/freezer, laptop/phone charging.

We are seeking 1 volunteer. With prior approval we can host max. 2, sharing. (friends or couples)

We have 3 permanent staff working at the camp: 1 Camp Management Supervisor, 1 Security, and 1 Maintenance person.

Karibu sana! Welkom! Welcome! Bienvenido! Bon Bini!

Sleeping options are clean, simple and safe. You'll sleep in a cozy Bush Pod (wooden hut) or large tent (all include bedding) whichever is available. As we are an eco camp and thus no piped water, you'll use clean shared dry (compost) toilets and super nice latrines with proper seats. We offer hot bucket showers to ease away the day's labors!

You get 3 simple veg/vgn meals a day which you will prepare in our basic kitchen (specialty/dietary foods, snacks, alcoholic beverages, juice/soda are not catered for). Meat dishes are not prepared daily but you are welcome to partake when we do. Otherwise if you eat meat every day, you can purchase it during our weekly supply run and store it in the freezer. Drinking water/tea/coffee available throughout the day.
