We are planning to design a vedic agro-forestry based embodied transformative experience of travelers in Pokhara Valley. It is rooted in the belief that there is delicate balance of human and environmental health.
    • Our program will promote cross-cultural transformational travel exchange bringing student in parks of Nepal Himalaya. We will reduce carbon footprints of travel by wood –apple plantation on Himalayan river beds.
    • you will immerse in cultural and natural wilderness therapy with Himalayan Rivers, mountains and melody.
    • Experience natural forest sound healing and mindful tracking for re-wildling soul, spirit and body rejuvenation. We support community resilience for living with tiger and snow leopards.

Re-wild and Re-charge soul and body in Himalayas for transformative actions from indigenous wisdom as kinship with the land agency.

    Acomodação

Founded in 2020, the Wild Nepal, over the last year, we have land for forest camping and a concrete house to host classes and accommodations for mentors. We have 1.14 acre of land for forest camping along with a concrete house with 6 rooms (shared kitchen and bathrooms) to host accommodation for our wilderness/forest therapy mentor/co-partner for Himalayan nature connection course design.

We provide a house to accommodate . Guest can order organic food from village or nearby town! We are not sharing food and space in the house. However, teach Nepali Cuisine together. You are free to use kitchen at your choice co-operating with other fellow workawayers in house as well. So, house will be good for more than two workawayers to stay together. We ask volunteers to bring their country flag or something that represent your country in our garden. We expect project partnership as a reward for your stay, time and experience sharing.

We dream to design holistic healing in Himalayas and wood apple plantation project.

  • Algo mais...

    Algo mais...

    During your time off:

1.You can go for seasonal wild harvest like--- Centella asiatica, golden raspeberry, fishing (we provide ayurvedic plant identification guide).
    2. We recommend going wild swimming in waterfall with natural spring for self discovery and wilderness awareness.
    3. Pokhara lake side is nearby and you can see 360 view of Pokhara valley with Himalayan mountain range from the forest hill top following old forest path .

As a professor of wildlife and deep ecologist native to Himalayas we encourage cultural immersion through earth friendly conversations for community engagement. We expect help in developing our dream project through volunteer support in developing fundraising and charity for this project. Unless we start farm …..Most work will be soft (digital) and storytelling. We need kind heart, dirty hands and forest friendly head :) we vision to support wood apple plantation in Nepal as well as research support to my students in wildlife tourism through our organization

Location--- house is located 35 minutes drive from center and 45 minutes drive from Pokhara Lakeside. If you are adventurous to walk through suspension bridge it is just 25 minutes walk from the Pokhara-Kathmandu Highway. Taxi normally takes NRS 1000 to reach the house from city center.

Please do not forget to plant a flower seedling or tree sapling in our purposed holistic healing center before you leave. We will bring plant!!!!

Specifically, we believe, your presence, talks and embodied walk in village trail will motivate young kids and youths not to pollute trails with plastic ( IT IS HARD in Nepali context --unless it is environmental day or immediate BENEFITS). LET US ENGAGE with WORDS and ACTION!
