Hello
I’m Alex:) I’m a student from the U.S. studying music. Currently I’m taking a year to explore and better understand the world as well as myself. So far I’ve worked on farms in Norway, Italy, Nepal, Vietnam, Australia, and now New Zealand. Initially my curiosity towards a different way of living lead me to volunteer on a farm, and over the past 11~ months I’ve really fallen in love with the constant sense of satisfaction and simplicity of life. Being at the origin point of our food systems has been a thought-provoking and humbling experience that’s made me rethink what I value.

New Zealand is my last stop on this trip and I’d like to continue to further my knowledge and skills. I’m keen to try just about anything. As long as I’m learning, I’m happy.

Quais são suas habilidades?

By working on farms around the world for the greater part of the last year I’ve had the chance to learn a lot from hands on experience. From planting/harvesting, to operating farm machinery, to felling trees, to taking care of a variety of animals, I think I have valuable experience that I can bring to my next destination.
