Description
We are looking for a couple or 2 or 3 workawayers together who will have their own en suite accomodation. we are not really interested in single people.
We are omnivores, and prize midday and evening meals with like minded omnivore workawayers. To us it is important to eat with and enjoy the company of our visitors. we do not entertain the preparation of differing meals for differeing
nutritional preferences.
We have a small holding. It is in rural andalucia, Spain, totally off grid, solar electric, well water, gas/wood heating cooking. It is 1km from a sealed road, 7km from nearest village. (Or three miles by boat)
Grounds are 1 hectare which we have enhanced with an olive grove, vineyard and citrus trees. On top of this is a substantial kitchen garden with the aim of being self sufficient in veg and fruit.
Life very much centres on the tidal river at the end of the garden. We have a motor launch for going to town, and bars. Canoes for fun. our house is raised on hillside with magnificent panoramic views up and down river
Have approx 100 m of private river bank with jetty.
We are an english married couple, 65ish! Adventurous, fit, keen to learn and ... Fun!

They were fit, strong and willing. They were tidy and helful around the house.
They were intuitive, working out how to address an issue, and executing the solution. they needed very little guidance and only needed input once. We achieved much more thatn we had hoped for during their time here.

They treated us tremendously, with loads of food, funny nights of playing games and teaching us new things. They are really caring people with a good sense of humour and are a good fun of a company.
