Description
This is an organic farm in Colombia that cultivates cacao and we produce our own chocolates. Located 3 hours from Bogota, we have a pleasent weather and the place is surrounded by forest and many rivers.
We support small farmers, educate and create environmental awaraness. Twice a year there is cacao harvest and in between we prune the trees and work in our organic garden. We practice yoga and have a space for meditation. Our neighbourhood is surrounded by small paths and small farms with cacao and coffee cultivations.
By voluntery work our guests have the oportunity to learn about cacao agriculture including harvesting, fermentation and drying process. We have 5 hectares and approximately 5 thousand trees. We expect from our volunteers 4-5 hours work a day, a valid health insurance, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
