Renan stay around 3 weeks with us. He helped me to convert the old mattress to cusion so we don't need to throw away. Reuse concept. He also help to sand the new balcony and painting. He follow our kayaking tour and take some nice pictures for guests. He is simple and minimalist. Easy to communicate and good manner always. Respect people and calm person.

Our stay at the ranch was one of our best experiences volunteering through Workaway. I hesitate to call it a volunteering experience, because it was so much more. Marcos and Ari welcomed us into their family, we learned how to hand make Chagalapoli wine and cacao, and had free time to enjoy the beautiful paradise surrounding the ranch. The food we got from the kitchen was truly incredible and cooked with love everyday. If you're considering this, do it! The setting is rustic and basic, but you don't need much when you're surrounded by the beautiful river and lake and all the animals that inhabit the area. It is truly a hidden gem and by the time we were leaving, we didn't want to. And on top of everything, the work they're doing here is vital to saving the environment, they are paving the way to restore the surrounding forests and push for more sustainable living. Truly incredible!!

Nathan stay 4 weeks at the floating house, he is very sincere to his work for our floating you. We have good discussion and re-do the website and booking system. He help me.a lot and some advice from his professional background. He is a traveller who love to explore interesting places. He wrote blogs at our website to introduce places of this small town and improve seo. Very comfortable and easy to work and stay with Nathan. Always welcome back if you travel to Malaysia again.

We Thank Robert for his friendly attitude and his mission to help wherever he could. His eagerness to help with whatever was coming up was great. We apologise if we didn't have enough to do for him. Unfortunately, Robert could only stay a week with us, instead of 4 weeks but we wish him all the best and hope he has a great time exploring Ireland. All the best from the Team

Oliver is very passionate on teaching paddling, Stand Up Paddle boarding or Kayaking. He adapted to our environment and learn about wildlife of mangrove fast. Appreciate his professional work as our kayaking guide during his stay. He live with our worker as friends and brother. He also teach him how to bake bread. A good workawayer, you can invite him.

I loved my stay at Judy's and Dennis place. They are amazing hosts and I really felt good around them, it was nice to share some moments around a movie or games of Rummikub. The food was excellent and the room very cozy. I enjoyed the satisfying task of removing/washing stones and place them near the vines and the low wall to embellish the garden. Thank you Judy and Dennis, I wish I could have stayed longer :)

Pauline came to help us in early April and was very keen to learn and work hard. She loved working outside, the cold didn't stop her enthusiams and engagement. She was our main caretaker of the newly received chicken eggs and took care of breeding phase. Pauline is a very clear communicator and fun to have around! We shared good laughs and deep conversations. We recommend Pauline to any Work away host, you will love her as we do!!

With much gratitude we had a wonderful experience with Nele. Nele stayed with us for two months and quickly became an invaluable part of our family. She came to us with the intention of helping with childcare, and her contributions far exceeded our expectations. Nele is a calm and kind person, and her natural ability to connect with children was truly impressive. She brought her special skills in Waldorf pedagogy to our home, creating an intuitive and calm playing environment that fostered a lot of support and inspiration for our child's own skill development. She seamlessly integrated into our daily routines, and her presence brought a sense of joy and peace to our household. We genuinely enjoyed having her around. In addition to her exceptional childcare skills, Nele independently helped with household tasks, including cooking and gardening. Beyond playing with our child, Nele also took on a very responsible role in caring for his basic needs, such as drinking, eating, dressing and good hygiene. We were felt confident that our child was in good hands with Nele, and we never had to worry about his well-being. We hope she will join us another time again.

We hosted Ethan and Alyshia for a couple of weeks and they were great to have around. They were hard workers, and did a large variety of jobs, including looking after the chickens, making compost, collecting, cutting and stacking firewood, making tracks etc etc. Wishing them all the best in their lifes adventures

I had an incredible first work-away experience at the farm, near the lovely village Ballydehob! Lucy and Aimi are so kind and welcoming, and balance running their plant nursery, beautiful homestead, and young family with so much grace and love. They are tapped into a beautiful community of musicians, artists, and farmers. The village nearby is one of my favorite places I know now! I was lucky enough to be there in May for the Ballydehob Jazz festival. The work on the farm was so wonderful, and very versatile! Lots of weeding, wheelbarrowing poo, some lovely vegetable gardening, and joyful plant nursery work! You have the opportunity to learn a lot about growing with permaculture principles, so ask your questions, Lucy and Aimi have so much knowledge. The other folks that work on the farm are so amazing, and are people I will always hold so close to my heart! Spending time with precious Maeve was so heartwarming, and I will never forget that brilliant, hilarious, and kind mind of hers! And her precious baby sister Siofra is the happiest baby I have seen! These are people I hope to stay close with through time, I highly recommend this beautiful workaway experience. I would say you should be comfortable and independent if you are work-awaying on your own here. As Aimi and Lucy have young ones, you make most meals on your own, and need to be okay finding new company or being in your own company most evenings! If you do want some sacred solitude, the little cabin by the magic stream is a wonderful place to find it. Many fairy folk, elves, and magic lies here! Enjoy it!

Alison is friendly and easy to communicate. She will do the work assigned and independent in time. We have great time celebrate Chinese New Year and showing her a local wedding ceremony for her blog post.

Vio ist wirklich unglaublich. Kaum war ein Wunsch ausgesprochen, schon hatte sie ihn erledigt. Zwischendurch und nebenbei hat sie Kräuterpesto gemacht, gebügelt und das Haus aufgeräumt. Ihre Energie und Vielseitigkeit haben uns sehr beeindruckt und den Alltag auf unserem Bauernhof enorm erleichtert. Oft kam sie strahlend vom Strand zur morgendlichen Besprechung, bereit für einen weiteren Tag voller Tatendrang und guter Laune. Mit ihrer freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Art hat Vio einen Platz in unserem Herzen gefunden. Sie hat sich mit Leichtigkeit in unsere Gemeinschaft integriert und durch ihre positive Ausstrahlung das Zusammenleben angenehm gemacht. Wir sind Vio sehr dankbar und hoffen, dass sie uns bald wieder besuchen kommt.

Paolo and Aurora were incredible to stay with. I loved talking to them about music and Jewish life. They were flexible with working hours and we got a lot done while I was there. Their home is beautiful and both of their pets were really sweet once they warmed up to me.

Erasmo is a great host super kind person with big heart! Inhave stayed 2 weeks on his land (in camper, although there was option to stay in separate house where other work aways been staying). I have meet whole family of Erasmo, and they all are super kind, friendly and talented. Its an amazing place to stay! Really enjoyed it! Erasmo let me use his tools and create/work with olive wood. I will miss donkey Chico, and big dog "Pandu" 😀 ❤️🍀🙏🏻

Nous avons passé 1 mois chez Monique (Hans était en voyage en Hollande) dans la Casa Lucu, au milieu du jardin entretenu par Chandi (le MacGyver d'Uvita) Nos journées commençaient à 7h pour se terminer souvent entre 11h et 12h Nous passions notre temps avec Chandi, principalement à nous occuper du jardin car la propriété est très grande, a réparer ou bien à améliorer le lieu, toujours dans la joie et la bonne humeur Le travail est physique car il fait chaud mais les tâches sont simples Il est arrivé que Monique nous amène nous balader pendant nos heures de travail Tout est flexible avec elle et c'est un vrai bonheur Le weekend nous allions nous promener à la plage avec ses chiens, parfois à la cascade Au niveau des courses, Monique vous proposera presque tous les jours de vous amener acheter votre nourriture et aussi de prendre des bons fruits et herbes du jardin Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir nous rafraîchir dans sa piscine après le travail Pensez à amener des vieux vêtements car vous allez les user la bas Ce fut une superbe expérience au Costa Rica, nichés dans la montagne directement au contact des singes, une multitude d'oiseaux, paresseux, papillons, insectes en tout genre.. Monique est un être de lumière et un exemple à suivre pour tous, pleine de bienveillance et de légèreté ❤️ We love you ❤️

This was my first ever experience with Workaway, so naturally I was very nervous at the start… but as soon as I arrived at Erica and Carlos’ home my nerves melted away. They welcomed me like I was a member of their own family and made me feel at home. For the 3 months that I was with them, they included me in all of their family activities and I never once felt like an outsider among them or any of their extended family. Erica was so kind to help me enroll in a local Spanish course, and would practice Spanish with me when we were together which helped me start to build more confidence with the language. The children (Eira and Bernat) were so fun to play with, and ALWAYS had me laughing! I miss them so much already, as they felt like little siblings to me. I genuinely loved being around them so it never felt like work for me--it simply felt like I was spending time with family, and I always wanted to be around! It is amazing how much the kids love to read, and I loved to read some of my favorite childhood books to them. They are both such smart children, and it was amazing to see them improve their English more and more over the course of my stay. Before my arrival, I had no idea how these 3 months would go, but it ended up being one of the best experiences of my life...I feel that I’ve made a connection for life, and I send deep thanks towards Erica and Carlos and the rest of their family. When the day came that I had to leave Vinaròs, it was definitely a very emotional experience for me. I would have stayed longer if it weren’t for the 90 day maximum with my passport! Visit North Carolina anytime!!! And I will be back in Spain for sure <3

5 stars. Number 10. How i can make review about a brother? He is family. And we are so happy that he will come back to work with us. We worked and lived together. Had a great time. Became a good team. He is earlier than being punctual. Helpful, Cooperative and kind. A guy who never complains. He knows what to do. Miss you bro.

Sarah got a job offer and couldn't stay long with us but she seems like cool person and she has great communication. I hope she can join us in the future again.

I can't speak highly enough of my experience housesitting and cat sitting for Julie. She has created a beautiful sanctuary in the woods and is generous with her space and energy. She was very clear about expectations and instructions for the pets, plants and space. She was also very encouraging about enjoying the area and getting to know the true beauty that is in Northern California. I would definitely work with Julie again, and hope to visit the Redwoods again soon!
