  We are looking for volunteers for the social media position and yoga starting at the end of May/June !

Welcome to our surf house. We are located in Tamraght, a village in the Taghazout bay in Agadir - Morocco.

For years we have been running a place that has become a meeting point for new and experienced surfers, as well as people who value contact with the sea and a comfortable home with great energy and delicious food.
  
  Your help as a volunteer would be very welcome.
  
  We value initiative and we provide a space for you to use this so, more than a long list of to-dos, the work here is more about using your time effectively and nurturing your creativity. 
Please read below as it will give you more information on the nature of the positions and help you know if this Workaway is for you!

  BE A VOLUNTEER (30 days minimum)
  We have 3 openings one for a yoga teacher and the other 2 as social media co-managers.
  
  YOGA TEACHER POSITION: Must have 200hrs YTT minimum. Please include link to any social media pages in your application.
  
  2 x SOCIAL MEDIA POSITION: Be comfortable making reels, taking photographs of the guests whilst they are surfing, doing yoga, or any activities which would be good to show on our social media page. Please also link any portfolio/ personal social media accounts when applying for this position.

  We'll try to reply to everyone, but sometimes it's difficult because we receive so many messages. Don't be disheartened if we don't reply to your message immediately. It's mostly because the position you ask for is taken at the moment or that you can`t come at the dates you request.
  
  But plans can change, people leave earlier with short notice etc. and we will get back to you when we see that your skills are needed.

All positions have general tasks such as keeping the house in a good vibe, helping with check in and check out and other simple tasks.

  Working close with the team, you get the chance to experience Moroccan culture through living in a small Moroccan beach town, working closely with a Moroccan family and eating Moroccan cuisine everyday at the hostel!

  BE A VOLUNTEER! (Minimum stay 30 Days) **Please include link to any social media pages/portfolios in your application.
  
  Everyone will work in the reception and manage general tasks around the house, these include but not limited to:
  1. Checking in/out guests
  2. Managing/updating our spreadsheets which keep track of board rentals, how many people take surf lesson or have dinner etc.
  3. Keeping your eyes open for things going on within the hostel and maintain good communication with the rest of the team.
  4. Man the shop during your shift (we have a surf shop across the road and its important to keep an eye open for any customers during your working hours)
  5. Finding the fun in your work, take pride in what you are doing and use this as an opportunity to grow and experience new things!
  
  
  YOGA TEACHER POSITION: Must have 200hrs YTT minimum.
  
  • YOGA
* You will usually teach once a day but if you would like to teach more then that is very welcome too.
• For each guest not on the yoga package that takes a class, you will be PAID €5. The number of guests who take a class vary according to season.
  • Although social media is not your main job we would like our volunteers to work together and sometimes it can be great if you come up with reel ideas and help create them and update the stories if you have nice content to share, take some content of your classes etc.. 

  
  
  2 x SOCIAL MEDIA POSITION: Be comfortable making reels, taking photographs,
  
  • Must include link to social media pages/portfolios and if you have, edited videos. We're interested in your level of commitment to the craft.
  •
We´re looking for two people to manage the social media, take photos and make videos for Instagram. Position responsibilities are a mix of photography, videography and hosting duties, including, but not limited to:


  * Managing our Instagram, posting 3-4 posts a week, pictures, carousels reels or videos, content which you decide
  on.
  * In between 2-5 of daily stories from things going on around the house, beach, town, dinners, excursions etc.
  
 * Social media updates, creating reels and posts.
  
  

We all help out in the different areas so the workload is always shared.
  
  
  So what is our agreement?
  
  - A great energy in a Moroccan surf house, of course ;)
  - Free surf lessons in your free time (this can be organised among the volunteers, flexibility is always there)
  - Accommodation in a shared 3 person dorm
  - Daily breakfast, mint tea and coffee throughout the day and a buffet dinner every evening with traditional Moroccan food and desert.
  - Free yoga classes on your time off
  - We ask you work 5 hours per day but it is important these are constructive hours
