Elena helped me out for about three weeks in early spring. At the time it was too early for all spring duties, but we still got a whole bunch done and Elena was helpful, eager and had a great spirit. She is a happy and smiling person with a mild sense of humor that is easy to be around. Elena is very happy getting out in nature, happy around people, and also all content just on her own. I can warmly give Elena my best recommendations.

Erin is a very kind, respectful and independent person. At school she always showed interest in making her classes interesting and fun, bringing up new topics with the students. As a native English speaker, the kids were able to interact with her American accent and strengthen their pronunciation. At home, Erin always followed all the established rules and it was great to have her with us. Erin makes delicious food and she was always willing to teach me her recipes. Thank you Erin for everything and we look forward to having you back!

I stayed one week with Candice and Te Uira and we worked on camper van projects and the fence. Candice is very knowledgeable and has much information and theories that she can share regarding history, culture and law. I spent the whole week learning and loved it!! The food was delicious and nutritious and I now have a favourite pumpkin recipe to take home with me!! Te Uira and I took walks and had lots of kisses and snuggles. Should you spend time here, she loves to have her front legs massaged ☺️. Thank you for a lovely week and teaching me so much!!

I had the most incredible time in this family. I felt directly at home, I could have stayed there for way longer than two weeks. Emily and Sam are extremely nice and have two wonderful children. It was a real pleasure to take care of the kids. We have been to the beach, the river, in town or even hiking in the forest. You will never get bored in this family, but of course you will get free time. In their house you feel like in the middle of nowhere, it's stunning. The walks with the kids around the house are magic. I strongly recommend this English/Kiwi family:)) I already miss them.

Lena wrote to me a while back asking to stay. Im not normally good with making plans too far in advanced but had a vibe about lena so we kept communitcation open and found a way to make it work. Boy was i glad i did. She was a breath of German air for me !!! To have convos on German and have her help around the house was amazing. Thankyou Lena for ticking off soooo many of my tasks on the to do list that i didnt feel so overwhelmed. Our love of food, nature, music, the kids and order ment we just clicked and things were so smooth I wish you all the best on your travels Im sure we will cross paths again 1 day

I loved the music vibe you created in our house. You understood what was helpful and how to make use of your day. Santi is very cool and easy going person. he is very skilled with social media, filming and editing. Santi is very helpful and supportive. he is the type of person who would help as long as he can!. He is very flexible which I appreciated a lot due to my busy schedule. It was much pleasure hosting him and he is very recommended

Mariana, how a nice person you are ! Mariana is very smart, active, helpful, supportive with a very open minded and full of ideas person. She helped me a lot in my project, very flexible and even working more hours than she should do!. In spite of she is limited to working hours but she really cares a lot and never regretted accepting her as my workawayer!. I received so many help with English lessons as well. She is a great teacher and cooker hehe. I was really wonderful hosting her and she is very recommended. Don't miss chance meeting her!

Quel bonheur d’avoir eu la chance de côtoyer Andrea! Toujours partante pour les nouveaux défis, elle a beaucoup d’initiatives et elle s’est joint à notre famille naturellement. Les 3 semaines sont passées très vite à sa compagnie et nous souhaitons la revoir bien vite !

Lieve is such an amazing person full of energy!! She's an extraordinary teacher, We definitely learned a lot from her. Students had so much fun as she had some great activities to share with them. Totally recommend her and wish her the best in her next journeys.

It has been an extraorfinary experience and I feel very lucky and grateful. I enjoyed very much my days with grade1 and Patricia. They deserved the books and hopefully much more ressources. It has been a real privilege to witness your strengh and faith in this project, Alex. It's amazing how it grows. I'm sure you'll attain your goals because you like to improve and learn every day. I had a great time staying at Lisa‘s place. She is a really warm and welcoming person with a super cute dog and cat! The tasks I had to do were not difficult and Lisa makes sure you have enough time to explore the Blue Mountains and that you enjoy your stay. I wished I could have stayed longer! But hope to see Lisa again to have some Japanese or French food 🙂All the best for you (:

We spent two weeks with Kieran. Unfortunately, due the weather conditions, we could not work much in the bushes, but we really spent some quality time with him. We met him at Sweaty Palms where we could get really really close the kangaroos. Then we helped him planting some trees at Stanwell Park, which was such a beautiful place and so close to Sydney. Even if we could not help much, we had some really good meals together hehehe. We are very glad the Kieran enjoyed the meals we prepared. Kieran is such a interesting person to meet, he have really good knowledge about the birds and the bushes in the area, so we recommend spending some time with him at Stanwell Park.

She is very trustworthy. Even though it was her first Workaway experience, she did an amazing job. I can trust her with any task. She fit right into our family and became a cherished part of it. She is not only a great family member but also a reliable au pair. We get along very well. She is flexible, adaptable, and hardworking. I am very thankful for her dedication to our family. She is almost perfect, and I would say that anyone who gets to host her is a very lucky host.

We had a great time with Dunja and Gabe who stayed with us for three weeks. We got lots of gardening done and 3 years worth of mess cleaned out of our truck. I enjoyed chatting with Dunja about our shared trade of Architecture. Dunja did some great cooking and everything was always left spotless! They enjoyed having some time to themselves which is possible with a variety of social spaces at our house. Dunja’s English is excellent and she was a great communicator. I would really recommend them both and wish them well for their next adventures!

Myron was fantastic to host. He's self motivated, sees where there is work to do, eager to help, pays attention to instructions and details and a joy to work alongside. He's been great with our child and fun to be around and treated our home respectfully. We can highly recommend Myron to other hosts and would host him again in an instant.

Did a month at the hostel in Crucita, mostly plastering and painting, we got a lot done, cool vibe, great host, lots of work to do, plus time to explore the region, enjoy the beach and the ocean, etc. Crucita is a quiet beach town, near Manta, nice breeze off the ocean every day, super chill place, friendly locals, cools down at night to make it perfect for sleeping.

Aku, keluargaku dan orang-orang di sekitarku menikmati pertemuan dan kebersamaan dengan mereka. Mereka mereka mengajar bahasa Inggris untuk anak anak kecil di sekolah. Anak-anak menikmatinya. Aku dan para guru menikmati makan bersama. saat perayaan idul Fitri selama 6 hari kami mengajak mereka berkunjung ke beberapa tetangga dan saudara kami. Jadi mereka sering diajak makan. Mereka ramah. Aku dan keluargaku menikmati pertukaran budaya dengan mereka saat duduk di teras sambil menikmati Snack, teh dan kopi. Aku merekomendasikan mereka ke semua tuan rumah. Terimakasih Cate and Daniel.

Alazne was excellent. She was a very low-maintenance house guest who was happy with any meals I popped in front of her, kept her room tidy, was always ready for work on time, willing to take on whatever task was asked of her, and was self-contained. She responsibly used our car. We wish her the best.
