Quel bonheur d’avoir eu la chance de côtoyer Andrea! Toujours partante pour les nouveaux défis, elle a beaucoup d’initiatives et elle s’est joint à notre famille naturellement. Les 3 semaines sont passées très vite à sa compagnie et nous souhaitons la revoir bien vite !

Lieve is such an amazing person full of energy!! She's an extraordinary teacher, We definitely learned a lot from her. Students had so much fun as she had some great activities to share with them. Totally recommend her and wish her the best in her next journeys.

It has been an extraorfinary experience and I feel very lucky and grateful. I enjoyed very much my days with grade1 and Patricia. They deserved the books and hopefully much more ressources. It has been a real privilege to witness your strengh and faith in this project, Alex. It's amazing how it grows. I'm sure you'll attain your goals because you like to improve and learn every day. I had a great time staying at Lisa‘s place. She is a really warm and welcoming person with a super cute dog and cat! The tasks I had to do were not difficult and Lisa makes sure you have enough time to explore the Blue Mountains and that you enjoy your stay. I wished I could have stayed longer! But hope to see Lisa again to have some Japanese or French food 🙂All the best for you (:

We spent two weeks with Kieran. Unfortunately, due the weather conditions, we could not work much in the bushes, but we really spent some quality time with him. We met him at Sweaty Palms where we could get really really close the kangaroos. Then we helped him planting some trees at Stanwell Park, which was such a beautiful place and so close to Sydney. Even if we could not help much, we had some really good meals together hehehe. We are very glad the Kieran enjoyed the meals we prepared. Kieran is such a interesting person to meet, he have really good knowledge about the birds and the bushes in the area, so we recommend spending some time with him at Stanwell Park.

She is very trustworthy. Even though it was her first Workaway experience, she did an amazing job. I can trust her with any task. She fit right into our family and became a cherished part of it. She is not only a great family member but also a reliable au pair. We get along very well. She is flexible, adaptable, and hardworking. I am very thankful for her dedication to our family. She is almost perfect, and I would say that anyone who gets to host her is a very lucky host.

We had a great time with Dunja and Gabe who stayed with us for three weeks. We got lots of gardening done and 3 years worth of mess cleaned out of our truck. I enjoyed chatting with Dunja about our shared trade of Architecture. Dunja did some great cooking and everything was always left spotless! They enjoyed having some time to themselves which is possible with a variety of social spaces at our house. Dunja’s English is excellent and she was a great communicator. I would really recommend them both and wish them well for their next adventures!

Myron was fantastic to host. He's self motivated, sees where there is work to do, eager to help, pays attention to instructions and details and a joy to work alongside. He's been great with our child and fun to be around and treated our home respectfully. We can highly recommend Myron to other hosts and would host him again in an instant.

Did a month at the hostel in Crucita, mostly plastering and painting, we got a lot done, cool vibe, great host, lots of work to do, plus time to explore the region, enjoy the beach and the ocean, etc. Crucita is a quiet beach town, near Manta, nice breeze off the ocean every day, super chill place, friendly locals, cools down at night to make it perfect for sleeping.

Aku, keluargaku dan orang-orang di sekitarku menikmati pertemuan dan kebersamaan dengan mereka. Mereka mereka mengajar bahasa Inggris untuk anak anak kecil di sekolah. Anak-anak menikmatinya. Aku dan para guru menikmati makan bersama. saat perayaan idul Fitri selama 6 hari kami mengajak mereka berkunjung ke beberapa tetangga dan saudara kami. Jadi mereka sering diajak makan. Mereka ramah. Aku dan keluargaku menikmati pertukaran budaya dengan mereka saat duduk di teras sambil menikmati Snack, teh dan kopi. Aku merekomendasikan mereka ke semua tuan rumah. Terimakasih Cate and Daniel.

Alazne was excellent. She was a very low-maintenance house guest who was happy with any meals I popped in front of her, kept her room tidy, was always ready for work on time, willing to take on whatever task was asked of her, and was self-contained. She responsibly used our car. We wish her the best.

Thomas dan Hollie sangat baik, mereka membantuku untuk mengajar bahasa Inggris dalam permainan yang menyenangkan di komunitas. Mereka juga membantuku dalam kebersihan. Aku sangat senang ketika mereka duduk dan membelai anjingku. Orang orang di desaku senang saat mereka datang di sebuah acara, ini memberikan pengalaman baru berinteraksi dengan orang asing bagi orang orang di desaku. Aku menikmati pertukaran budaya dengan mereka di saat kami duduk di teras rumah. Aku merekomendasikan mereka ke semua tuan rumah.

Juliane was with us for about a month and is coming back in July. She was very helpful in every way and connected with everyone on the property. She is healthy in body and mind and made us fresh granola every few days, as well as various other delicious meals. She enjoyed physical work in the garden and worked well and independently. She doesn't have any bad habits and is cheerful, curious and adventurous. We look forward to having her back and highly recommend her. She has become a family friend.

David is one of the most amazing, friendly, warm, knowledgable, and did I say AMAZING human beings I have ever met. I feel so lucky that he decided he wanted to come to my neck of the woods. He stayed several weeks, finished SOOOOO many carpentry/DIY/ECO projects. He even fixed some older projects that weren't quite right, and found projects that I didn't even know I needed to do, like a building me a hot sauna and a cold plunge tub. LOL. He tackles everything with so much enthusiasm. He is super helpful and truly wants to help. I had some other guests staying on my property - one of the young women were trying on rollerblades and went too fast down the fill - he caught her and broke her fall, injuring himself, but saving her from injury - that's the kind of person that David is. If David decides to stay with you, count yourself very lucky to have such a skilled, happy, thoughtful and kind human being to help you. I would love to host David as long as he wants to stay. Estuve un mes en la Fundación, todavía absorbiendo todo lo que fue para mí esta experiencia increíble y diferente. Al conocer a los Warmis y tener un contacto tan cercano con las mujeres locales, escuchar sus historias y verlas apoyándose entre sí, terminamos involucrándonos emocionalmente. Es admirable, una inspiración. Sarah y Gabriela me recibieron muy bien, la relación con los otros voluntarios y los nuevos amigos contribuyeron a la bienvenida y grandeza de la experiencia. Vivir en una casa estilo Gaudí es precioso. La región es buena, una Bolivia completamente diferente, muy pacífica. Las tareas son variadas y el cronograma incierto, pero es posible combinarlas. Internet también es bueno. ¡La comida es genial! Gracias por todo!!

i feel so lucky to have been able to be a part of this experience at the hostel! Such a magical town to get to explore and there are so many great people to meet that walk through the doors of the hostel, you'll connect with people all over the world! This place felt like family to me, the feeling of community was super strong and there are always friendly welcoming people. Sean is a great guy who really cares about the hostel and his volunteers and wants to make sure they feel at home! I extended my stay longer than originally planned (i'm pretty sure i was the longest staying volunteer!) and feel like i'll always have a little piece of family back in Sayulita! I miss it there already! grateful for the experience!

This was a wonderful place to stay as a first workaway experience. Everyone said it before me, but this is nothing but the truth : Rie is a very kind, welcoming and generous person ! Despite her hard work and short time, she spent the week sharing with me the places around she knows, shrines, waterfalls, onsen, outside working time. Eating together was always a nice sharing moment and I am very gratefull for all she did for me. I feel lucky ! Hope to get the chance to stay here again :) And I wish Rie all the best for everything she is building here for the village.

I really enjoyed staying with Angéla, Jan and two cats for 4 weeks. They are friendly and warm persons so I always feel welcome. I never get bored as there are always different things to do and I can choose what I want to do. There are other animals such as sheep, chickens, ducks and pigs. Wild deer is living in the surrounding! They explain everything if you have no experience. I worked on gardening and learnt different practices in eco-farming. I also emptied the barn to get prepared for the sheep house, built the sheep fence, painted the house, feeding the animals and helped around the house. I definitely recommend to anyone interested in gardening and animal care.

I was so lucky to host Signe. She is so lovely to have around, great with animals and happy to just get on with tasks. Signe is a talented and confident horse rider so she took my young horse to 2 competitive trail events very successfully. She helped at a horse event as well, learning to take heart rates and working well with the team there.
