  Description

  We are a newly opened Resort and try to develop tourism in the remote area and create jobs for local people.
  SpringRiver Resort is a remote natural Resort in the middle of Limestone Karst mountains. We are looking for volunteers to support our team with helping our local staff & taking care guests. Teaching villagers and local authorities for developing tourism in the remote area. We are looking for someone who want to STAY AT LEAST 3 MONTH.
  Also we welcome people with skills like carpenters, builders, mechanic for maintenance work!

  You will benefit from a cultural exchange with our Laos Staff and be fully integrated in living/working in Laos. Learn about the local lifestyle of farmers in the remote villages. Experience how responsible hotel business & tourism is progressing in a remote area. Experience the true lifestyle in a remote area in Laos.

  Help

  Volunteers that come to join will participate the following activities:
  - Teach the villagers dealing with foreigners in the restaurant
  - Teach basic english for how to welcome foreigners
  - Make villagers aware of protection the nature resources and developing new tours
  - Training local people from the village how to guiding foreigners around the area and visiting caves
  - Survey Kayaking trips together with the local community
  - Doing maintenance work in the resort or help with the daily tasks of the resort

  Accommodation

  You will stay in a nice room with privat shower and toilet. Sitting on the privat balcony offers amazing views over the limestone mountains and tropical garden. You will eat with our local Laos staff 3 meals per day and getting free water and access to high speed wifi.
