Hi!

We are Lucie and Céline, a French couple aged 29 and 31 and we decided to leave our respective jobs in order to discover Italy for 6 months. As clinical psychologists, we wanted to get away from our daily lives in the city and our comfort zone, to get closer to nature and travel in a different way by meeting people and sharing experiences.

We really love animals, cooking, laughing, sharing simple moments of life and traveling!.
We definite ourselves as openminded persons, we are both sociable, voluntary, dynamic and above all motivated to learn new things (starting by communicating in Italian ;) ) or to help you in your projects! We are very curious and would learn anything : from farming to build or harvesting, everything is a new experience for us and this is what we are looking for.

We chose Workaway to discover Italy differently, not as a visitor but as persons who meet others and share to each other cultures, experiences, jokes, recipes, point of view etc.

Lucie :
I describe myself as creative, I love decoration and handiwork. I love building materials and furnitures, working inside or outside, fixing things (even if I don't have big muscles haha). We learned how to place tiles, paint walls and helped for a lot of moving.
I love cooking and try new recipes. I also love nature, plants, animals, taking care of everything alive.

Céline :
I absolutely love cooking, especially Italian and French food, my father and grand-father used to be cookers and transmittedme this passion.
I've learned to tinker with things and being autonomous about daily maintenance.
Since I was little, I am surrounded by dogs and cats and I took care of them everyday, I simply can't live without animals!
I am a psychologist specializing in children and adolescent protection (for the French Ministry of Justice) and I've worked with children since I am 16 years old, that's why it is a natural pleasure to cake care of them.

What else ...

We ABSOLUTELY love board games (games, cards, puzzles) and we've took some of it with us, so if you like it or are curious to learn new games, it would be a pleasure to share it with you during free time!
We also like yoga (when we have time for it).
Also, we really are passionnate about antic history and constructions, so Italy is a cultural treasure for us, but tourism can't be as enriching as the history of the locals living there!
