Description
Close to Vancouver, we would love you join us at our 7-acre riverside eco-retreat:). We no longer operate our eco retreat as a business, rather, we just live here.
For June, July, August and September we are, ideally, looking for someone to house and garden sit as we will be vacationing much of that time. It’s best if you have your own vehicle. The grass will need to be mowed and trimmed, the gardens kept watered and nice (pull the odd wee though it’s all mulched).
We live in an awesome natural paradise so close to Vancouver! We are right on the river... we are right beside a Provincial Park, hiking trails around us, and there is a swimming lake close by (summer).
It is a perfect area for anyone who likes photography, being in nature, and likes being in a family-like environment (though we have no children living at home). When we’re at home we live like a family during the day with a small sleeping cabin for volunteers at night.
If you are a foodie and love to cook, it would be most welcome..we eat well here...and we have wifi, tv, mobile phone service with one carrier. We will share our knowledge as much as you wish:
This is our 12th year as a hosts but we’ve been away traveling a lot.
Please let us know if you have any special skills:)..
Getting here is by bus.
We are an hard-working couple, and love to play games hike, and read in our spare time.

Nature abounds in our location. For those who like photography, writing, the outdoors, or other nature-oriented pastimes, we are a wonderful place to be! For those who wish to live lightly on the earth and learn about daily living in an environmentally-friendly way, we are also a wonderful place to be:)
